BEEKMAN COUNTRY CLUB Review

Playing golf at Beekman is enjoyable in every way! The course is in great shape with greens that roll fast and true. The course also is a great set up for the average golfer to enjoy their round with out losing a lot of balls. The staff is always friendly and the food is very good.

3 hour front nine, walkers should NEVER be a loud on holidays and weekends, a fivesome...with a young kid...one adult need to go.

The course itself was good. But the facilities set up in light of the virus were poor. The restroom facilities amounted to 2 portapotties. These were the most disgusting ones I have ever used. There were 2, and on one of them the door wouldn't even latch. The one I did use, extremely reluctantly but necessarily, included a urinal which didn't drain properly, leaving a pool to have to look at. And wear a mask! The stench was nauseating. The cleaning station amounted to a spray bottle . There really should be running water of some sort. Disgusting.

Had a beautiful reception following a funeral service, where the friends and family were able to play 9 holes in the pouring rain as a tribute and the golf course was more than accommodating

Amazing food and help with catering event. Alex was exceptional always helpful and made everything so easy and stress free. He handled the menu and was amazing

My family had a golf outing at Beekman on 10/17/2015 for 16 people. Steve the GM could not have been more accommodating. When we arrived on Saturday he was there to greet us, quickly helped us with any changes and made us all feel welcomed and appreciated for being there.

The course was in great shape and Steve's staff was excellent. Thank you for a great day and we will be sure to hold our outings here in the future.

Very well maintained especially with all the rain we have gotten.

Great driving range and now includes a foot golf course. If you live close by and like golfing I highly suggest getting a Membership.

Nice layout for the value and pace of play is usually good

Poor condition and the starter had literally no idea what was going on. Combined with the fact that he was incredibly rude. This was my first and last time playing this dumper

The course is in great shape and we played 18 in a bit over 4 hours on a busy day.

First time visit to Beekman yesterday and the course was in great shape and well taken care of. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Make sure you gets some wings from the restaurant before you leave they were great!

Last week I went to play n I forgot my putter home. No sweat. The lady gave me one putter to borrow. What a nice gesture.

If you play golf in the area, usually this golf course is top three course. Everyone loves playing here. This is the people's course; friendly, well priced, good conditions, 9-27 holes, beginners to advance, with a relaxed but professional atmosphere.

Good course, but stay away if it's wet, otherwise love the valley and taconic courses.

Nice 27 hole course, however, the greens were very unkempt.

Some holes are in good condition but a few were really bad

We love going Beekman Golf because my grandson Dylan plays golf there, and also my son, and his family live there as well.

I had a rueben sandwich with enough meat for two. Friendly waitress.

Drive all the way here from Brooklyn to play.. great course! Well maintained, usually not a wait at tees so long as the cart guy assigning you doesn't say "ah whatever" and send three groups of 4 to start at the same nine at the same time, which happened. Clubhouse bar has great food.

Courses in very good shape this early in the season greens are almost perfect

Course has been in awful shape for the last few years. If you see this review check yelp and see for yourself. The owner must be getting bad reviews from google removed because there s no way this place is a 4.2. Greens are always garbage, fairways and tee boxes chewed up and staff always rude. They even reply rudely on the google reviews.

Three challenging nines in very nice condition with exceptionally nice greens. Lisa, the female pro is an excellent teacher, the rest of the staff polite and the prices friendly. I highly recommend Beekman Golf Course

i have played courses in better condition, but i'll keep coming back for the great value of this course.

Beautiful course, but the 6 hour round was way too slow today... Golfers need to respect others and be ready when it's their turn. Would love to play it again sometime.

I've been playing here for over 15 years!! The course is always putting money back into the course! Every year its evident! The greens are compatible to any private club I've ever played! Plus! There are 3 9 hole courses! Very challenging for all players ,, Do yourself a favor and make it your business to make it here! The staff and course are terrific

I've been coming here since I was 7 years old. Great people, awesome owner and the food is very decent. They recently renewed the course and made some hold different so it's a pleasure to play there again. Good course, good experience, but I dont really care for the Highland Course. The Valley is my absolute favorite.

i have played courses in better condition, but i'll keep coming back for the great value of this course.

With three 9-hole courses Beekman offers a different look for each outing. A few long hikes between homes for walkers, but the course offers some interesting holes.
If you are looking for a great offer, check quickly to see if they are still offering a unique 3- year deal.

Wish they were more accommodating for a trip when they refuse to answer the phone. Drove 1 hour out here and couldn't accommodate a reasonable tee time.

Today we have great weather and the course are in really good condition. We managed to play all 27 holes and we finished under 6.5hrs..

Just signed up for there 3 year unlimited golf.....can't wait till next year to use it....

Don't understand some of the reviews about the course being in good shape. Played this week- I don't know what happened to this place. Conditions were awful- greens in terrible shape. Some completely bare spots on greens covered with sand? Just terrible. Beekman used to be in great condition, and the higher price compared to other local courses used to be worth it. Not anymore- too much money for a course in poor condition.

UPDATE: I can now add poor management and bad customer service based on the snarky reply below.

The first time I played there I really enjoyed it a little confusing with the location of a couple of holes not sure which where to go but overall everyone was helpful. The course was it well maintained and the restaurant had an excellent lunch special

Lovely course it was my 1 time playing there. Really enjoyed it will go back.

Getting slot of play. May want to have 15 min tee times instead of 10. I have see 12 carts on a tee box. We were 2 groups ahead with groups ahead on green, fairway and we were on the tee. Playing 12 min tee to green.

Just got back from my first round at Beekman. The course was nice enough. However, the starter decided to go off on our group of 3 at the first tee for no apparent reason. I've never had a problem at a golf course before this experience at Beekman. We had an early afternoon tee time, a group ahead of us, and before we even got off the first tee the starter literally cursed us out, told us we were holding up "the whole f-ing course" (mind you, nobody had come up behind us yet) and that this was "no f-ing place to practice." We played at the same pace as everyone else the whole day, but we were constantly feeling rushed because of how rude the starter was. I will never go back.

This chef gets it! The food is outstanding! Clean, great staff, and I don't even play golf. Amazing place to grab a drink and some outstanding food.. a must visit

Your average muni course. Not great, not terrible ...

Hate this course. Called and was told it was $39 with cart - got there and it was $49. Don't care for the course or workers there. Not worth the money. No military discounts.

Course is under new ownership this year and it shows! The upgrades are everywhere you look on the course or in the clubhouse. I love the attention to pace of play as we always play in 5 hours or less. Having 27 holes makes it easy to get a tee time . Best burger in towm!

Yesterday was my first time playing Beekman. The course was in great shape and i will definitely come back to play. But i was immediately turned off by the man checking me in at the pro shop. I booked a party of 3 players in advance and upon checking in he said i booked for 4 players. After saying it must have been a mistake he kept saying well it was for 4 and began to accuse me of lying and misleading them about my booking. He had a horrible attitude and he even said well I was the one who reserved this spot for you . Almost like he was not capable of making such a dumb mistake. Misunderstanding on his part but in my opinion I shouldn't be getting balls busted when im about to pay you over 160$ on a weekday tee time.

Great course, friendly staff, good pace of play and good 19th hole.
