My experience with BASC / NH Orthopedics was not good.

First there was the very immature acting medical assistant at NH Orthopedics who led me into the exam room and asked me the usual questions before I met with doctor to discuss knee surgery. He behaved more like a goofy teenager than a medical professional.

Then there was the rude voicemail that I received from Debra at BASC the day before surgery asking me why she didn t have any information on who would be staying with me for 24 hours after my surgery even though I had provided that information twice, both on their web registration portal and to Crystal the nurse during a phone pre-registration.

This same Crystal also questioned my health insurance company provided ride service that I d scheduled to take me to and from my surgery. She told me she would have to check with the higher ups to see if they were ok to use and that she would get back to me. She never did.

And then there was Mary, whom after I d arrived for surgery, checked in, and was led into the surgical prep area, decided that that was a good time to tell me that this insurance company provided ride service was not acceptable. She then asked If I had someone else I could call to take me home. When I said that I did not she said that I would not be having surgery and would have to leave.

Do yourself a favor and choose a more caring and professional local hospital for your orthopedic needs.

Facility is organized, staff all very professional. Dr. Goumas performed my knee surgery and he is knowledgeable, experienced, and great bedside manner. I would highly recommend him and surgery at this facility.

I had a septoplasty here performed by Dr. Keith Jorgensen which went well. My experience with staff was very positive. Almost 30 years ago I had my tonsils and adenoids removed by Dr. Keith Jorgensen at Parkland Medical Center which didn't go as well I woke up vomiting and ended up staying in the hospital for several hours. When I woke up at BASC I felt great and ready to go home so a 10/10 experience from the anesthesiologist as well.

The staff was incredibly warm, caring and professional. The facility is immaculate and efficient. I would give them a ten if I could.

My son had a procedure here. They were very attentive to his needs and keeping him comfortable and happy. Great nurses!

Please tell clients you're located under the RED awning, not blue. Per the attached photo it's clearly red on the front and sides. We drove around and around. Service was prompt, professional and friendly!

The service during a recent surgery was good, however I had an issue, and have attempted to contact the Practice Manager several times, leaving messages. After about a month I have not heard from her. So despite the good service and care during surgery, the customer service after is poor. I will be following-up with the doctor's who own the practice, since the manager cannot find the time to reach out.

I recently had a surgery here early July. My pre-op nurse was Cheryl. She was absolutely amazing. She was kind, compassionate, and professional. She did a great job educating me and walking me through the pre-op process. My post op nurse was Luke, and he was just as amazing. I was extremely nervous going into the surgery. Both of them did everything they could to comfort me and made sure I understood everything. Being a nurse myself, I am usually not the on receiving end of care so this was a different experience for me. I am so glad I had my surgery here. I continue to rave about the care that I received. Luke called my family after surgery to give instructions and was very thorough and detailed. I can t thank BASC and my nurses enough for everything. I know as a nurse how difficult it can be with the pandemic going on to come to work and be cheerful when you re wearing a mask all day for 10+ hours. These nurses are just amazing and deserve so much more than a great review. Thank you BASC.

Rating is regarding Mr. Silversmith - zero compassion or desire to understand or want to resolve issues. Insurance based coin operated attitude. I suffered for over a year but according to him, I had no issues? 2nd doctor got to the root of it and resolved my issue in 2 months. My issue was unique so Dr. S likely did not have the skills or interest to solve. Given the distant appointments for most doctors, DON'T GET STUCK WITH HIM - You will regret it.
