Great office, love Dr Soberon. However, their office always calls me to get information right before they close. If i miss that call and try calling back, I am unable to reach them, sometimes until the next week. Their hours state that they close at 12:00 p.m, but don't try calling between 11:30 am and 12:00 p.m because their answering service will just say they're already closed.

I would give ZERO start if that was an option. Absolutely the worst experience I have had with a Dr. office. I was looking for a new family Dr. so I went by their location and filled out all the initial paperwork in advance, including all the standard information and insurance. While there we made an appointment and they told me it would be 3 months to see the Dr. This was the first red flag. So I show up for my 10:00 appointment 3 months later at 9:40, only to be told that they lost all the paperwork I had originally filled out and I would have to do it again! Strike 2. After begrudgingly spending the next 20 minutes filling out paperwork, I then sat for 45 minutes. At 10:45 they called me back for my 10:00 appointment. Nurse performed thorough triage and lead me to a room. an HOUR later I had not seen Dr. Fowler yet. Strike 3. I was just about to leave when he came in 15 minutes later. He asked me a few questions, and spent 15 minutes making notes on my file, which was fine. Asking me about any preexisting issues I needed to address. I indicated I wanted him to manage all my long term treatment, and that I was out of my refills since it had been 3 months, so he ordered some labs and sent me across the hall for blood tests, saying that they will call me with new prescriptions once he receives results. So 10 days later I have not heard from the office, so I contacted them only to find that he DID NOT ORDER ALL THE APPROPRIATE BLOOD TESTS, and that I needed to come back for more tests. This was not a case where the results dictated more testing, he just forgot to have the test run to refill my medication. So then about a month later, I had a gallbladder attack over the weekend. I spent Sunday night in the hospital, and the ER dr. released me saying that my family Dr. needed to send me for one final test prior and help me get the surgery scheduled. My wife called at 7:00 Monday morning and left a very urgent message with the answering service explaining the situation and the need for someone to immediately contact us when they open at 8:00. After no call, and no one answering the phone by 10:00, my wife was forced to call around everywhere looking for someone to take me immediately, while I laid in horrible pain, unable to help. She got an appointment with the Diagnostic Group for 2:00pm that afternoon. On our way to the appointment, someone from Dr. Fowlers office called saying that they had a message from the answering service. I explained that it was unacceptable and that it was a medical emergency, and we expected to hear something right away, but did not. The woman would not even concede the point or even apologize. Again I told her it was unacceptable and she blamed the answering service. I asked when she received the message and did not get an answer. Again I expressed my dissatisfaction, and stated that no thanks to them I was on my way to a surgical consult where someone was willing to help asap, and that I wanted her name, and the name of the office manager to speak with later. 4 days later I received a letter stating that they would no longer be offering me medical services. By far the worst experience with a single Dr./office I have ever dealt with. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. You don't even get to see the Dr. unless you wait for 2-3 months. If you have acute needs, I was told that I may be able to see a PA within a couple of days at best. You decide how professional this is. Good Luck.
