These guys have come on my property without permission numerous times. After my partner asked them to stop trespassing and to show her the proper paperwork allowing them on our property they threatened calling the sheriff on her. This tough guy thought he could bully a female into letting him on our property without permission, it didnt happen. As soon as I entered the conversation the tough guy was no more, his other men explained to me nicely how they have an agreement with the city to come on our property to work on the utility pole. The supervisor of Bear Communications was wrong threatening my partner and handled the situation very badly.

I worked for bear as a drop supervisor. And they were a great company to work with. They teach you what you need to know. Plus the guys there were nice and treat you good. I would recommend anyone to here. Plus the subcontractors were also nice. And fun to be around.

This company installed fiber optic cables for AT&T. They did significant damage to my yard and water-line. They also left a big mess, including a large white painting of a circled star on my driveway. Damages that I paid for out of my pocket were almost $400. This does not include the cost of landscape damage. I filed a claim with AT&T and they admitted it was the fault of the diggers (i.e. Bear) and that I would be reimbursed. Long story short, after countless phone calls and emails to various parties, Bear Communications refused to reimburse me. I don't even do business with AT&T, nor do I want to, yet Bear Communications dug up my yard, caused extensive damage, made a big mess---and all at my expense!

DOES NOT PAY SUBCONTRACTORS FOR WORK PERFORMED - I am a small subcontractor that worked for Bear Communications in 2016. Per Contract, Bear Communications withheld 5% Retention for all invoices. Retention was to be paid 90 days after the review and approval of the invoice. It has now been 2 1/2 years, and Bear Communication has not paid the Retention Withheld. I was asked to take a 42% discount from Bear's Controller in order to get paid the retention that is outstanding. His explanation was that Bear was still awaiting payment on this project and that he was willing to pay us in advance. I have learned that Bear Communications was paid in full, and signed off on their Final Payment in December 2017, which is 15 months ago from todays date. I have sent this information to both the Controller as well as the CEO of Bear asking for an explanation. At this time, I have not received any communication back from the representatives of Bear regarding their holding of funds. I would not work for this company if you are deciding on whether or not this is a reputable company or not.

Not rating for their work. I am rating due to the drives they have on the road. Today after 7 in the morning rush hour on I-35 south one of their drivers (female with blonde hair) was driving erratically and trying to hit me multiple times. There was no way for me to move out of the way. This happens from the from the Cookingham exit til the 435 south exit. The driver drove off quickly onto the 435 exit once she saw I was on the phone with police and giving them information.
