Third visit to this Cafe and quickly becoming my favourite! It has a lovely laid back atmosphere, good to visit alone, with friends, with children and there's lots of floor space so fine for prams. Its disabled friendly and has an easy access door and disabled loo.Its dog friendly too yaay! There's something for everyone on the menu and I love that there's lots of options for VEGANS.
I had a delicious red pepper soup today, with soft granary bread and dairy free spread, and a soya coffee.Staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you, they seem to enjoy working here which adds to the atmosphere.

Good coffee and food. A bit in the pricey range. High quality ingredients used though.

Update: Went back for a quick coffee during the bank holiday. They are keeping the standards and food offered has higher quality than an average Costa. Prices are OK for the offer. Not giving another star as they allow dogs inside.

The gentleman serving us, he had a checkered shirt glasses, and a slight accent (sorry about the dodgy description) was absolutely lovely, great service. We had the Sat-yay burger, sweet potato fries and tuna melt, and coffees, everything was UNREAL, we will definitely be back !! Amazing. Especially with the covid restrictions and everything.

Don't normally do reviews but thought I'd share this with you! Went in to buy a coffee earlier today, saw a nice piece of banana bread which I ordered. Was rather flummoxed to see the server guy slice the piece in half and wrap it in a bag. Cost me a fiver for a coffee and half a piece of cake!

vegan and doggo friendly, VERY gorge coffee, fab service and a v cute venue. But despite the pretty plating, the veegz brekkie needs more salt on that guac mumma, herb up those mushies, a lil dollop of pesto on the tommy maybe.. something to distract me from the (vbites style) vegan sausages sadder than my childhood. But no seriously, some small low cost changes would make this cafe a must for corduroy wearing, oat milk flat white drinking folk who have come to avoid their now online degree.

Popped in for lunch on a whim. Very pleased and impressed. The Buddha Bowl salad was absolutely delicious: fresh, interesting and well presented. Coffee excellent, too. Staff very efficient and friendly. I will be back!

A brilliant coffee shop with a unique menu.

I came in at breakfast for a flat white and noticed they also had overnight oats on the menu. That was me nicely fed until lunch and they tasted great especially with the added fruit on top.

Coffee shop near Penny Lane. Stop and visit if you are around. Really nice atmosphere and staff. I had avocado on toast and my partner full breakfast. It was really tasty and perfect poached eggs. Coffee was nice too. Perfect morning in this coffee shop in Penny Lane.

Really great place for the kids and our dog. The space was a little untidy but that may be part of the charm!

If you re juggling a couple of kids and a dog the bathrooms are very accessible.

My Daughter also dropped her amazing hot chocolate and the staff were great about it.

A successful trip in my experience

The ideal local coffee shop : great coffees from around the world served well and accompanied by delicious cakes pastries. They are conspicuously good at catering for vegans and those with food in tolerances.

If you've come on the Beatles tourist trail up to Penny Lane, or if you're just a Liverpool 15 local, this stunning coffee shop is really not to be missed. Had the best prepared coffee I've had this side of Seattle and they have some really stunning home-made cakes (and even rainbow ice cream, you can charm the kids with)
You can catch up with work or other stuff with the free wifi (seemed to be plenty of fashionable people doing that) - or just stare out of the window at the 'shelter in the middle of the roundabout' (even if that place is abandoned at the moment) and watch the world go by.
Oh, and lovely people to. This is one of my random finds that really has most impressed me in years.....

My local coffee shop and a million times better than Costa. The filter coffee is delicious despite the fact that l ruin it by adding milk (according to one member of staff and a coffee drinking puritan). I often bring my laptop with me and set myself up on one of the desks at the back and it's a great space to do a bit of work. The staff are always friendly and engaging and the food looks lovely although l'll confess to never trying it myself. Only downside is that they welcome kids groups on the weekend who hog the tables and don't buy anything so l have to give the place a wide berth but appreciate that probably can't be helped. Community friendly and all that...

I have a coffee and full english breakfast at least once a month however, I've attended today and experienced the worst visit yet. The beans were freezing cold, the sausages had been cooked at least twice over to the point of being burnt and a very hard skin and the bacon was like rubber as if it had been cooked in the morning and just left. Was very disappointed with he experience and will probably look elsewhere for a Saturday morning breakfast.

If you're a coffee drinker you'll really appreciate Bean There. For everyone else, it's basically an indie coffee shop, with cakes and sandwiches. I liked the music in there though, which is why it gets four stars, and somewhat elevates it above a Costa or Starbucks. The interior is also bigger than it seems, although I didn't go in the back rooms.
