Overpriced food and very very average and disappointing.
Didn't appreciate being run after down the st by the waitress who was yelling I hadn't payed.
Shame on her considering it was all payed for
The whole experience was very disrespectful it was my first time dining here and it shall be my last.

I live locally and in the past have lived this venue. However just visited and was disappointed and embarrassed. To the point in no hurry to go back! Ordered three drinks. One came out. Asked twice about the remainder, only to be asked to go in and show a receipt. Are you kidding? When they realised their mistake, you wouldn't even know. No sincere apology or offer of any kind. Had our drinks after everyone else. Not going back in a hurry, not hospitality that's for sure.

Our coffee and orange juice took 35 minutes to come out to the table. The food came out around 50 minutes after being seated. I paid $29 for a very average and overpriced breakfast, this wasn t even including the coffee. Felt very ripped off when we left.

This place has a great vibe and a lot of potential. My experience is a one off so please keep that in mind. This is posted as covid restrictions are easing. We ordered a take home meal for two (gnocchi). This was at 6pm at night and we were not advised on purchase that the meal would come frozen. We realised this once home and followed the cooking instructions. Unfortunately the cooking instructions underestimated the time needed to cook from frozen and the centre was still frozen. Disappointed after waiting a long time for dinner and it was a good 30 minutes off the required cooking time. Communication is everything. Had I known the meal would come frozen I would have just order a hot takeaway meal. againi stress great vibe to the place and the staff, this is only intended as constructive customer service feedback.

I ordered off the breakfast menu the Bruschetta. My God! This was amazing, delicious and provided a real taste sensation to my taste buds. It's not your typical bruschetta this is absolutely far from it, it's amazing. I took a photo but it was half way through me eating it, i wish i took the photo before eating, the way it was beautifully presented to me.

Our steaks had to be sent back to the kitchen as they were undercooked - we asked for over medium and got at best medium rare. My wife then found a grey hair in her salad. The waitress offered us a free drink as an apology. In the end we were only charged for one meal.

Have just returned from 7 weeks Europe ,no issues ...

Have just returned from 7 weeks Europe ,no issues with restaurants,went for lunch with my wife to the Beachhouse had seafood,tasted strange after taste,mentioned this to the manager,was not interested or concerned ,2 hours later after feeling unwell,vomited and had diarrhea,Not a good experience ,contacted the owner via staff No reaction,No recommended

Really overpriced. Ordered a rib-eye, meat over cooked, under portion,they sell 220g and I probably had 120g, dry, and not taste at all, the thick cut chips were not cooked inside. My partner had the duck, dry and tasteless, as well as the same little bol, as mine, of crap salad. Kids meal were tasteless a part their fries... Staff were almost under age, not much of experience. Would never go back there, and not recommend it.

Really slow service and overpriced. Took 45mins to get poached eggs with bacon and wrap with cold fries at 20% capacity and 5 staff. Had to ask 3x to get tomato sauce with the fries. Wouldn't bother coming here, lots of other great choices nearby.

Awful experience from somewhere that used to be great.

Was told our food would take 45 minutes; an hour later our food came out and I nearly laughed out loud. The burgers looked like something you'd get at a Bunnings sausage sizzle, but much drier.

Our $22 open souvlakis were nice, but no better than an $8 kebab shop take away, and didn't come with any sides.
Poached eggs came out hard boiled.

It was painful to hand over my card, and I won't be doing it again!

Came here with a group of people, about 10 of us. Drinks were expensive but we were quickly served. Food was nothing special, although we only had little things around the table to share.

The deck is nice to sit out on with a drink.

I understand that due to covid restrictions we nee...

I understand that due to covid restrictions we need to follow certain precautions but when you arrive at this venue and let them know straight away that you only want coffee outside you'd think it would then make sense to either ask us to sign in or for ID for proof of address and have us take our seat outside, but no, this venue has us stand inside at the desk attempting to scan a code that doesn't work on my phone and so taking another several minutes to get my friend to do both mine and hers on her phone ( I ask if I can show ID instead but he says no) we are then asked to stand infront of a screen where our images are on camera ( which feels very uncomfortable) and have our temperature scanned by the screen. By now I'm wishing we never set foot in the place. So after many minutes going through the scanning process' we are finally able to go out side and order our coffees ( the time spent indoors going through all this created far more contact time, plus touching the door coming in and out, than would have ever come about had he just seated us to start with and taken our order), and then after all this extra contact time that has been created by beachouse and making us uncomfortable, we then need to go back inside to pay! ( More time in the venue).
Seriously, greet at the door, take ID for address proof, seat patrons and take order, then use a portable paywave for us to pay, if that had been the case we wouldn't have even touched the door or counter or been in an enclosed space with the staff member while he ran through the instructions for the code and screen and temperature reading. Won't be going back.

Great food, if a little pretentious. Very very slow service despite being almost empty. Forgot our coffee order, when.we complained the brought half the order and then forgot the second half of the order. No apology was offered.

Really excellent cooked food and presentation. Staff waiting on tables were polite and first class in fulfilling their duties. Had one of our guests with major disability and they did everything possible for him.

The owner of this restaurant wouldn't let is in even though we had been on hols for a week and had the blessing of the premier to stay on hols. If we were told to go home we would have but figured we would enjoy our last night out of lock down. We had proof that we had been in Queenscliff for a week and had 4 hungry kids. Where is the comraderie? Don't forget that Geelong had active cases and where we are from had no active cases. Ablsolute discrimination. We are all in this togther guys. Please don't forget that.

At lunch today my wife and I were seated at table and initial reception was good. With minimal patronage waited five minutes for drink order. Received drinks and twenty minutes later was asked if we would like to order a meal. At this stage there were only three tables to attend to and three waitresses resetting tables at the back. Unable to get a second drink because waitress would not engage. Received meal and requested second drinks which took another five minutes to arrive.

Slowly but surely the service at the Beach House has deteriorated. Too slow, not engaging and not interested in their customers.

Food is still good but service is abysmal.

A nice place in a nice little town. With COVID practices in place the experience was a bit empty for atmosphere and more for us more about the food. Our food was good but not great for how it presented, and the wait was excessive even if staff numbers were down. Happy to support a local place but am not in any rush to return.

Order Ice Coffee the milk was warm and by the time it came to the table the Ice cream had melted had to ask the waiter for some ice and then to make matters worse the had misplaced our meal after 45 mins the did actually offer as a 10% discount of the bill not sure we will be back
