BBQ... very delicious. Super tasty. My apartment is far from here, so I can't visit often.
The restaurant is first-rate and spacious, the menu was delicious and the rates were very reasonable. quickly, productive service and very welcoming staff members. I highly recommend this place.
Got the Angus brisket and it was perfect! Definitely the best bbq place I've been to inside DC. The sides we're okay, the fries could use some salt in that seasoning mix, but otherwise not a bad deal for $15.
The menu and service were ahead of our expectations. We absolutely enjoyed the vibes of this restaurant. First-rate restaurant to take the family out for dinner.
My first hint of trouble was when the store didn't smell at all like barbecue. Or smoke. We tried the wings, smoked chicken, smoked turkey and pulled pork (they were out of brisket). Everything tasted uniformly of liquid smoke. Including the cornbread. It wasn't so bad that I spit it out, but it's definitely not something I'd go out of my way for again.
The place serves big dishes and for affordable pricing. super nice staff members. Kudos.
BBQ Sauce #5 was so much love and the pull pork sandwich was outstanding. Can tell the baked beans was made from scratch which was refreshing. Mac and cheese was perfect
This place has the very best BBQ in the Metroplex!
I relocated to Arizona from DC and I miss the food from this place so much. The food is well prepared and the service is amazing. They are staffed with great, friendly folks that know good food.
I can not wait until you are open again so that I can plan a visit to the area just for some great DC FOOD.
BBQ is probably my favorite... and the bbq bus is a solid option. I experienced the food truck that stops on Massachusetts ave. I think they're priced reasonable for a food truck in this area. The sevice is lightning fast, my food was ready before I poured my sauce. The team was friendly, they let you try samples before you buy and that's a huge help when you're not sure what you're going to like or what you're in the mood for. I personally like my baked beans to have a sweet smooth character. Their beans have a sweet sharp vinegar taste, but they're still very good. The mac and cheese taste like it was made with love. Saving the brisket for last, its moist and savory with a rich flavor. the sauce bar give you plenty of bbq sauce options marked for their region and style. they offer some basic drink options on the bus. I opted for water this particular time.
