Once my wife and I entered the restaurant, no one greeted us or acknowledged us for about 5 or 6 minutes, but once the waitress came and seated us, everything got better. Her hospitality and service was excellent. Once she took our order, the food came out of the kitchen fresh and hot. The food was good. The prices were reasonable and worth it! It was worth the wait!
Wow, I'm impressed with this restaurant! I don't eat seafood but came here for a birthday dinner. Most seafood places only offer 1 or 2 alternatives but they have many. We tried 5 appetizers & they were all very tasty. I ordered the baby back rib dinner with side salad & rice pilaf. I was told it was a half rack order & expected 3 or 4 ribs. It was 7 tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs lathered in sauce! Side salad was almost the size of a regular salad & lushes. Rice pilaf & hush puppies were tasty & delectable. They provided hefty portion sizes so you get your money's worth here! To top if off, we had a fabulous server, Alexia! The restrooms were clean & well maintained.... And did NOT smell like a urinal! Keep up the great work everyone!
Today. I stopped in to have lunch. I ordered my food. The waiter brought my food out. The rice was not fresh. I requested fresh rice. I had to wait over 15 minutes for fresh rice. This is not the best service today. I will not be back anytime soon.
I am from New York where the food is amazing. I was visiting my family in Georgia. My sister had been raving about this particular restaurant. So I agreed to give it a try. And to my dismay, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, tast of food and the ambiance. The food was amazing. I had ordered the Alaskin White Fish plus sides. The fish was seasoned and fried just right. The portion of food was good. I even had extra to take home. I will visit again.
This was my favorite seafood restaurant until today. The waitress took our order and we never saw her again. We had to ask another waitress about our food after waiting about 45 minutes. A man brought out our food. No drink refills no seeing if we needed anything. When he finally walked by we asked for the check. We waited quite a while for him to come back. We finally scraped together enough cash instead of paying by card and left. I won't go back.
The service in 2019 was fabulous, but today it was so pitiful we have no plans to return. I guess the stimulus checks have had the opposite of their stated purpose, as we are losing some really good restaurants because they cannot find people who want to work. At the current rate of service, this one will not last long. Such a shame because the food and the value used to be really great. The dining room is the prettiest I've ever seen in my life.
Visiting from TN. Saw several seafood places, I asked around and was told to try Bay Breeze... I'm glad I did! What a surprise the hush puppies were! The crab legs were perfect and the shrimp was amazing! The slaw was delicious, just needed a larger size!
Food has always been good and a lot of it! B-day dinner with a large gathering service was somewhat slow but it was a lot of people for two servers! Like everywhere else the price has gone up but for the food no complaints. Had a good time!
I've had their popcorn shrimp and whiting box a couple of times and I was satisfied each time. You definitely get a good portion of food. The fish is seasoned and huge. Just be careful with the bones if you are ordering for children.
