Great place to come for tennis and swimming. Perfect for a hot summer day. Unfortunately you have to be a member to come but if you have friends who are members you can come as their guest. Very close to the ferry building which is a great stop after swimming for some food and drink.

Terrific club in downtown on the Embarcadero. Great staff and facilities. Features tennis and swimming with a nice fitness center.

The bay club at Gateway has one of the worst customer service and management compared to other fitness clubs. Be aware in case one is injured or sick, their staff demands payment of the full membership dues regardless how serious your health condition. And each time one reaches out to their executives, they punish their longtime members by adding another price increase for no reason.

Beautiful outdoor 25yd swimming pool in this pricy club.

Good location. Some serious lack of basic maintenance. Leaking valves. Exposed electrical wiring over showers. Malfunctioning lockers. Club is literally falling apart with apparent indifference from club operators. Sad to see go degrade over the years. Used to be such a great club with a dynamic management.

Very expensive club. I was looking for a workout gym not a hotel.

I used to belong to the Bay Club, the GGTSC's sister club, but I really like GGTSC not only because of tennis but because the gym is not very crowded. I highly recommend my personal trainer, Laura -- she's got great energy and has motivated me a whole lot. One gym member remarked,"Laura's got all the clients with smiles on their faces!" It's so true.

I recently saw a magazine quiz called "is your gym hip?" GGTSC swims by:
Equipment - up-to-date with tv screens on the machines as well as tv monitors for those who prefer not to plug in
Service - complimentary towels, shampoo/soap/mouthwash etc/ coffee and tea service, desk staff are pretty chill
Environment - courts are well kept, swimming pool is heated, landscaped, great upper deck to do floor work or watch a match

The locker room is a bit dated and not as comfy as that at the Bay Club.

Bay club Gateway is amazing facilities nice pool and tennis and gym lots classes. Really enjoyed it so much.

We've been coming here since our sprout was old enough to get in the pool. Swimming lessons summer camps and tennis lessons. For an urban kid, outdoor time can be hard to find but Gateway delivers

Amazing place to hangout, nice court area and the faculty are so friendly. Just love this place. Asked if i would recommend this Club to others ? Definitely "YES"

The pool and jacuzzi are outstanding, especially in the evening! Magical. Clean, perfect temp, beautifully decorated, and rarely crowded. Downside is the facilities need better maintenance. Some locks on showers and toilets in women s changing room were broken. But it s a small thing.

Go here if you visited San Francisco then I recommend you to visit here once at least

This place is an excellent health club . the staff are extra cool and the facilities are the same .I would most definitely recommend a visit .
