Finding a reputable HVAC company to install two heat pumps and all new ductwork can be a daunting task. I had an old boiler heating system that had to be removed, as well. I must have interviewed 10 companies and, unfortunately, not all of them were honest and forthright.
When Shari from Bay Breeze came out to my home, I was impressed with her knowledge, expertise and patience in answering all of my questions. I had a thorough, line-item estimate in hand in a day or so. The installers were on time, polite and professional. Before they left my home each workday, they swept, vacuumed and tidied up. We just had Bay Breeze install 3 - Trane XL824 Connected Thermostats in our home. These devices allow us to monitor our HVAC systems remotely and they will also alert us in the event of a malfunction with the HVAC systems. The install by Bay Breeze was fast, clean and expertly performed. The price was competitive, the appointment was scheduled to accommodate us conveniently and started right on time. Bay Breeze has a very solid reputation in other places on the internet but nobody has reviewed them on Google...so I'll be the first.

I had Bay Breeze replace my A/C and furnace and am 100% happy with their work and with the experience that I had in dealing with them. Their pricing is fair, the company is well-run, and all the people I dealt with were very nice and seemed like very decent people.

If you are looking for a company to service or replace your HVAC system, I think it would be hard to find a company that is more honest or pleasant to deal with.

Bay Breeze came out to fix our A/C unit a few weeks ago. The service repair man did a terrible job on the repair and our bill was high. We called and they called us back, two weeks later to say they decided what the repair man did was wrong. The customer service was awful.

Quality of work, craftsmanship, customer service is what you expect in a great company and it s employees. Kevin Sammons went above and beyond to knock out a motor replacement for our A.C. along with an air scrubber and a surge protector installation. I have a piece of mind now that our house will be clean as well as safe from anything that could harm our unit. This technician did a great job from start to finish. Cleanliness was on point from clean up to wiring the inside of the unit. On time and very swift with his work. He explained the whole process as well as how the air scrubber works and I m glad we pulled the trigger and purchased it.

My AC went out and we called them. Very courteous service from the phone person to the technician.

First, it is extremely rare that I have worked with a company of any type that truly goes above and beyond and puts their customer's needs above their bottom line. They have unsurpassed customer service and their technician and office staff are knowledgeable, prompt, and very responsive!
Over several weeks of problems and repairs, Bay Breeze could have "nickeled and dimed" us hundreds of dollars, as many HVAC repair companies would have, but they did not. They could have charged us for the cost of parts without fighting with the manufacturer over the warranty, but they did not. The extra effort and caring attitude saved us THOUSANDS of dollars and earned Bay Breeze a customer for LIFE! See below for details!
Bay Breeze diagnosed a problem in our system and informed us that the original installer of the system had not bothered to register the unit with the manufacturer so it was not under warranty. Rather than stopping there and charging me for the part, Bay Breeze had me find proof of installation so they could successfully negotiate with the manufacturer to get them to cover the cost of the parts (saving us $3,000.00).
While this was being worked out, the temperature soared and it was 93 degrees in our home. They came out and recharged the system so that we could live comfortably until our system could be repaired. They did this on short notice on a Saturday and did not charge me for the visit.
During that visit I asked them to check the downstairs system (also flagging) which had the exact same problem. They diagnosed this problem and recharged the system and again, did not charge us for the visit or refrigerant to temporarily fix the downstairs system.
They fixed the downstairs system as soon as they could get the part and didn't bill us for that repair until the following month so we could spread out the cost for the repairs.
I have used other HVAC repair companies over the years for various problems with mixed results. I will never call anyone else ever again!

A few weeks ago we had our old heat pump unit replaced, both the indoor and outdoor unit. Shari was our salesperson and she was great from start to finish. Explained everything well in terms of what we would get and the warranties Bay Breeze had to offer for our Trane unit that they installed. Dave and Ethan installed the unit and were professional throughout. Later that day I noticed a noise from the indoor unit and also that the fan was much louder than our old unit. I contacted Bay Breeze and they worked with me on finding a time for a technician to come out to look at the issue. Clarence came out and fixed everything (the noise was a minor issue with the filter door and he adjusted the fan). Also, after the install Shari comes back out to give you your warranty papers and make sure everything is to your satisfaction.

Required a service call during the cold snap that we are in and Bay Breeze was responsive and the technician Kevin that responded to the service call was professional and very proficient at trouble shooting the problem. I 100% recommend this company. Thank you Bay Breeze!

Our unit started to leak heavily in the basement due to a clog. I called Bay Breeze and they sent Justin the next day. He was great! They were punctual and I felt the pricing was fair. Bay Breeze was great. They replaced my AC unit in summer 2014, both indoor and outdoor, with a Trane XR13. The unit is way better than what I had and now the whole system is working more efficiently (lower bills and cooler). A big part of the improvement is the upfront analysis they did, which uncovered some problems with the original ductwork. Bay Breeze then designed and manufactured some replacement ductwork to improve the air flow on the intake side of the furnace and had everything built and ready to go for the day of the install. Very affordable, even with the Trane quality and the custom ductwork, they were still cheaper than comparable quotes. I would highly recommend Bay Breeze.

Bay Breeze gave us a great deal on a HVAC / gas water heater / humidifier a few years ago. After that, their service technicians provided excellent service whenever they needed to come out. I highly recommend them.

Very knowledgeable technician. He did a thorough job and fixed the problem at hand instead of trying to sell me a whole new system. I will be using this company from here on out.

They came out for initial check and diagnostic. Charged me the $115 fee and never returned. They were supposed to come out the next day and did not show. Repeated calls could not get a service date scheduled. Very unfortunate as I had heard good things about them. Would not waste time contacting them.

The technicians that came to my home, Justin and then Kevin, were both really great. They were professional, courteous and thoroughly explained the problem my HVAC was having. My only complaints were on the repairs themselves. I had a TXV replaced. It's a $40 part I found from a few suppliers but the distributer used by Bay Breeze took over a week to locate and send the part. On top of that, it was a heat wave the whole time and it stayed 95 degrees and 65% humidity inside my home. I estimated a full canister of 410A at $100-130 (my unit only takes half). The shocker was $225/hr (lawyer rates). So, $150 in parts and supplies cost me $850 after only a 2 hr installation (yeah, that math doesn't add up either). Heat waves can justify a backlog in being able to get to a job, not price gouging. I also had to pay 50% up front which seems a little insulting when waiting for over a week in sweltering heat. I'll also add that this took 3 visits and didn't include the $115 for the first visit.

Bay Breeze was quick to send out a technician when our AC went out on a hot summer Monday. They had initially installed it 9 years ago and had all the records for the service call. The Technician, Kevin, was very knowledgeable and professional

I was able to get an appointment the same day I called. Kevin and Chris were early and they waited for me for about an hour. They were very good natured about it. They were friendly, professional and efficient, and they located the problem quickly. They let me know that a part was only working intermittently. They said it would cost $600 to replace. There was no pressure at all - they said it could still work like that for a while. I decided to replace it. The part had to be ordered and they said it would take a couple of days. They asked for 50% of the cost upfront. I told them I would be out of town later in the week. They weren't sure whether the job could be done before I left. Well, the part came in the next day, and we made an appointment for the day after that. Kevin and Chris replaced the part pretty quickly. I was happy to find out that the price quoted for the part included labor! I was very happy with Bay Breeze and will certainly use this company in the future.

I bought a house two years ago and just got around to the HVAC. After some research, I found that this firm got very good customer reviews, was local and was not a 'factory' or just a local franchise of some invisible parent company. So I called them. I was very happy with the technician and the work. Justin was very friendly. The service was thorough and efficiently done. I was invited to watch and raise any issues I wanted to. All my many questions were addressed and I got useful descriptions of the work and things to pay attention to. I will continue to use them.
