Bad training and no support they let people go because of no call volume. And sell fake products. I was getting about $200 every week in subscriptions the managers stole them for their own income. I verified this with a long time emplyee. They use people from Temp agency to acquire more subscriptions
I have worked with Basic Research for 4 years as an outside vendor. I have had great experiences and the company has always been fair and honest. I enjoy working with them, and highly recommend them as well.

Company provides regular communication, listen to and consider new ideas, and continually encouraging growth, both personally and professionally. company understands work-life balance and culture is conducive to creating mentors with lots of opportunities to get involved based on your interests. many employees have been here a long time which allows deep integration into the business and the ability to create pathways to success for others. No company is perfect. the company had its ups and downs. while we grow, there are things that are evolving( updating technology, formalizing procedures, etc.) that come along with any growing company.
If you are sick or injured in any way and need to take time off, that will be held against you
If you re not hitting high sells in the first or second week you re gone. They make videos of people who are still IN TRAINING and have them review their company and say how great it is ??!!
Basic Research has given me a lot throughout the years. I started working here back in 2010, and have had the opportunity to learn new things and advance my career into different positions and departments. I feel lucky and grateful to come to work feeling confident I am making a positive difference in peoples lives. Yeah, some days are hard and stressful and sometimes I may not agree with some decisions being made, but that's work, isn't it? I've stuck with it and been through the internal ups and downs of this company (and there definitely have been ups and downs!) and truly believe that the company is headed in the right direction with not only its customers as a focus, but employees as well. And that's my honest review.
I started with Basic Research as a referral over a year ago from someone that has been in the company over seven years. Since my time with Basic, I have learned many new skillsets and was given the right tools to succeed. I love the people I work with and I feel that my role is important! Its been a pleasant experience and have referred additional people myself because of this. If you are interested in the beauty and supplement world, I would recommend this company!
Do NOT work here. This place definitely has preference over people. Amy, Lidia, and Manuel gossip behind co workers backs. Their products are also fake and they drop products on the floor and still pack it and not wash their hands. They don t respect the COVID-19 guidelines. They do unlawful termination to any employee who has worked there less than a week. TRASH, TRASH,TRASH. Really bad experience no professionalism at all.
Pros to working there: There are great benefits and there is a belief in the product. Upper management is good for the most part when trying to get results. Consistent schedule and work hours. Get paid overtime. throw little parties time to time. Cons: No room for growth. A lot of inappropriate or rude behavior talked about behind peoples back. If you are in the warehouse you feel underappreciated by the office side of the company. Due to No scheduled performance reviews, no scheduled raises, and the conflict resolution isn't the best. There are also a lot of cliques. I worked there with for two years with a short term mentality and liked it just fine. Gave me some tools to help me later in life.
