The beating heart of chemistry. Great colleagues and a great working atmosphere. Correct employer.
The beating heart of chemistry. Great colleagues and a great working atmosphere. Correct employer.
Druk chemiebedrijf met uiteraard lange wachttijden. Het personeel is wel steeds correct en vriendelijk indien u dat ook bent.
I charge here sometimes 4 times a week. There are many companies at BASF. And it seems that you have to wait. But at BASF, it normally takes up to 2 hours.
Parking trucks on site......first check in .....take paper and complete it....take id and ppe with you ....go inside.....weightbridge......load......weightbridge....out
One year I was working on this site. Very good experience :)
The shipping staff is unfriendly, otherwise the load (tanker) is in Ortnung.
Good employer, very good integration between the different companies.
everything is fine except the registry office which take drivers for dogs
Quick registration and that's it. A very long waiting time will take them in, even though you are already in the company. For registration you need all the equipment, helmet, shoes, second sleeves, etc.
A top company. Everything is clearly indicated. If you are on time for your time slot, things generally go well. (Problems can occur everywhere due to problems in / from the factory) Friendly and correct staff. A large company with the associated security measures. Sign up with helmet, safety goggles, long sleeves and long pants. Take ID card with you when registering. Large parking lot at the entrance. The loading place is on the pink sheet you get after registration and on the back of the cover is the entire site where you can see how to drive. If you follow the rules and arrive on time, you will have nothing to complain about here.
Not very pleasant experience to collect from this place.. health and safety rules way over the top. Ended up spending 5 hours on site, too many offices and waiting for everything...
Worst of all, despite 30c blue sky day, they still insisted all drivers to wear long sleeves, hard hat and googles .. in my opinion, it would be good to do risk assesment as curtainsiders drivers dont really need long sleeves / overalls to secure trailer safely !
More and more attention is being paid to the environment
As a truck driver it is not always clear where you should be, no solid signs to follow, exits also do not come clearly into gate 6, but exit gate 14 did not come across any signs where these are or to be followed, for such a large company that safety works I think that is a big flaw, signage could be much better, I could now ask it by speaking Dutch I can imagine that it is difficult for drivers who speak different languages grt Brecht
BASF takes Umicore to court, ruling in June 2016.
I thumb for BASF.
Not much convenience to loading (coffee, toilet etc ..)
Avoid the pause change. One at 13:30 the other arrives at 14:30.
Staff: one in two is very nice, the other not at all with French!
ADR tanker driver
It is different, loading happens before time but I also waited a few hours for unloading. As the other way around, it depends on the day and whether it has fallen apart. Generally pleasantly.
Top Company.
Environment and safety conscious.
Top Employer.
To Vinnie: In this way you were given opportunities for work. You might have asked for a little more training at the second workplace. Impulsive reaction does not help you further. Everyone needs to be flexible!
Driving a tanker is at BASF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Super professional business complex, good, correct security and follow-up of safety, very well-structured construction of the site with block fields, A, B, C, ... and 100,200,300, ....
Large chemical company. Friendly staff. Only what little parking provided.
