Great view, great food, and great service! We were amazed how fast our food was ready - from a fantastic menu.

The service is next level ridiculously awesome beer selection great food how can I go wrong we'll see you next time I'm in the area!

Nice view of lake and fire place in middle of the room makes for a pleasant experience

Great menu and excellent views of the water. We also enjoy shopping the boating store on the first level.

This place is great! Appetizers are amazing, servers are kind, and it has a great view of the lake. I was sort of disappointed with the Ceaser Salad but the rest of the food was so good that it made up for it. I highly recommend the beef jerky.

Great Happy Hour food drinks and prices. Last night for our Anniversary they had music. Wonderful place and employees.

A moment of confusion walking into a water sports store, but signs directed me to the restaurant. Good food, Angel was a great waitress, and the location is beautiful. My kids loved their food.

This restaurant is located inside on the second floor of a outdoor water sports shop. It is a very modern atmosphere with a great view of Wallon Lake.

I ordered the Jambalaya as an appetizer. Then ordered a half rack of ribs. The Jambalaya could have used a sauce, however it was good, just needed more moisture. The ribs were excellent. The dry rub had something spicy in it which in addition to the Chipotle Bbq sauce be really set my moth on fire. Not enough to cover the delicious taste of the ribs, but more than enough to feel it. The meat came cleanly off the ribs, so it was cooked perfectly. They came with Loaded baked beans, that were a little dry. They were ok with some of bbq sauce. It also had some good cole slaw. I topped the meal off with a nice glass of hard cider. The person I was with had a hamburger and stated they cooked it to a perfect medium rare and the burger itself was excellent.

The service was good, however they have people circling the tables like sharks. Back off it's hard to relax with so much movement. Everything was really clean.

Overall a 5 star review. Would I return? Absolutely. Great Meal and a beautiful setting.

Casual with plenty of selection. Service attentive and informative. Prices average and food good. I have gluten allergy and there is plenty to choose from. Love the view.

The food is always good, however I felt like our server was not engaged. I believe she thought of us as an inconvenience to her day. No smile, nonchalant attitude.

Barrel Back has great views of Walloon but the updated menu leaves a bit to be desired. They used to have great quality food but now I struggle to pick what I want. I really miss the steak sandwich, it seemed to be everyone s go to.

Been there several times, always a great experience and service, up till this last weekend. I will chalk it up to end of the season staffing issues.

I really like the atmosphere here. It was my son's birthday and he chose the Barrel back. I live the fire and on the water view. Keelan lined good pizza and got a free dessert for his bday. It was devine. Just a few comments. The shrimp and grits is SMALL. I can understand shrimp is expensive but for 20 dollars, it was starter size. Burger was fine for my other son but they didn't ask how he wanted it and it was a bit overcooked. My pasta was soupy and not enough goat's cheese! But service was great, as it always is.

Great happy hour menu. Cute waitresses. Good service. Hot towels with the wings. Up north. Doesn't get much better than that. Great view. Great food. PBR on tap. ALL DAY son! I'd eat here ALL DAY son! Really do have everything good to say about this place.

Hidden under my nose for years .... Outstanding food with an equally beautiful view...

Drove across state to try their ribs only to find out they don't serve them until 4:00pm. ( we were there at 2:30pm) we were seated in main dining area for the spectacular view however table next to ours requested large ( garage type) door to be opened (62 degrees out) it was uncomfortably cool. We requested to move inside while two other tables left establishment (wish we would have too ) Meal was just OK. Disappointed in experience and will not return

The food was good, but a bit pricey for what you get. The Alfredo was amazing though. The ambiance is great but the service was lacking hospitality. The manager was short tempered and the girl who delivered our food seemed rushed and just threw the plates on the table and left. But our actual waiter was great. Me xed feelings about our experience

Great fresh food. Good drinks, salads and sandwiches. Not air conditioned, stuffy despite many open windows. Great views. A little pricey.

Always tasty. We just wished the fireplace was on, it was cold when we went. Though, it can't be cold forever...

Semi-fancy feel although it sits above a sporting goods store. Get the Buffalo Chicken Dip

Our visit to Barrel Back was AWESOME! I love the GF options. The food was spectacular and our waitress was fabulous! Mindy your the BEST! See ya the next time we roll through town.

Service, menu choices and the ambiance were outstanding! I had the full order of spare ribs and my lady had white fish. We cannot say enough good things about the restaurant. Simply a great place to relax and have a great meal. Congratulations to the owners, management and staff that make this place great!

Always a good choice, food is excellent, a little crazy during peak season but worth it

Food was great, especially loved the chicken buffalo dip. Get there before the rush, so you don t have to sit in the booth.

Love this place. The food is high quality and the prices are amazing. The happy hour oyster special is a must. Such a great deal and the oysters are delicious and so fresh! We had the tuna tartare appetizer and the scallops and tuna steak entrees. Everything was great.

The only thing that is a bit weird is the space. The table we sat at was a bit cramped and it was slightly uncomfortable.

The service is great though and our server was so nice and attentive. Will certainly be back. Hopefully they will consider expanding when the time is right.

The manager of the restaurant was extremely rude and inappropriate. She treated grown adults like children with her accusatory behavior and agressive way of talking. I am extremely disappointed in how a paying customer was treated.

Great atmosphere, cozy fireplace, and a great way to meet the locals. Great view of the lake and ice skating rink. Situated in a cute little downtown area. The food was ok but the children's food left a lot to be desired. How do you mess up a peanut butter and jelly and a hotdog? The hotdog came out cold and my daughter said it tasted like metal. We dont eat hotdogs at home so she loves to get them when we go out. The waitress did replace the hotdog.
