The appointment was on time and the vet was very knowledgeable in answering all of our questions regarding our adopted stray cat. We were very happy with the service and recommend highly.

I have been using this vets for over five years and have always found the staff to be trustworthy and caring. I won't take my cats anywhere else. The practise is always clean and welcoming.

Regrettably the Head Vet, Jaymin, seems more interested in the money than the pet and will refuse to come to the phone if you have a query, even after an appointment where you've spent a lot ie thousands - he would prefer you bring your pet in again to make more money despite all the anxiety this will cause the animal. There is little problem solving skills in the approach to a non-straightforward case (Supervet he isn't!) and you will be better off finding a specialist vet in the appropriate field as I really felt they were out of their depth if anything goes wrong. As this practice is owned by Medivet they will not refer you to the best specialist even though it is your right to ask that they refer you or for you to get a second opinion. Go to Lumbry Park for specialists who know what they are talking about. Or Langford Vets in Bristol (part of the University of Bristol). They will do video consults too. Unfortunately the best specialists are not in London but you will be able to get initial video/telephone consults and then take it from there. At least you will be getting expert advice.

Dr Patel extremely caring and compassionate. Looked after my previous dog for 6 years until He needed putting to sleep age 12 . He has since cared for my schauzer for past 12 years.

Stay away form this Vet. Most unhelpful and unprofessional. I took my dog just a few days ago because he had developed an ear hematoma. He did not prescribe him anything and asked me to monitor it for some days to see whether it would go away. The swelling is now worse and when I asked for a price quotation (I qualify for financial aid) for the surgery the receptionist said that I would have to pay for another appointment. When I demanded to speak to the vet on the phone, she put me on hold while she went to speak to him and when she came back she said that they were all busy and that there wasn't any pet there atm. Frustrated, I went in person, and the same unhelpful woman refused to give them a call or tell me when they would be around. I called the RSPCA and they advised me to ask for the medical history of the dog to take it to one of their clinics asap. I asked for it and the same woman said that she'll make a note of that and that she will do it when she has time when there was nobody in the surgery and my dog was in pain!!!. It took days for her to move her disgusting ass to send the documents. Stayy from this vet and especially from this evil woman. She has no empathy and should not be working with sick animals!

We are very happy and comfortable, with the care Jazz has received at Barnfield House, in North Harrow and Trust their advice and care. Our kitten, at 8 weeks old had an eye infection. The receptionist was very kind, understanding and patient with our queries, as I explained the symptoms (we are first time kitten owners). We had a Zoom consultation which went very well. Anjani was very knowledgeable on Jazz's condition and offered us valuable advice. Jazz had her 1st vaccination today at the site in North Harrow, and again the receptionist and Anjani were very kind and helpful.

So glad that we did!! The staff are warm and welcoming. They truly love their jobs!! Looked after our labrador, kept us informed throughout the day on his well being and recovery.

Quoted 64.06 for our cat's vaccination then they tried to charge 90something when we got there for his appointment because it was a different brand. At no point during our calls did they check or mention anything about brands so this was a completely wasted visit; they'd rather lose our business forever than match the price for their mistake. Friendly staff but we're extremely disappointed.

We have three cats and 2 parrots. We have been registered here approximately last 7 years and always felt very supported. All team is very caring, friendly and professional. We feel safe since we have been under their care. Highly recommended.Thank you.

A very good and friendly professional business. I ve used Barnfield house for a number of years and the service and care is second to none.
My dog was attacked last July 2018 in the evening. I though she wouldn t survive. Barnfield House were exceptional and nursed my dog back to health. They provided advice and training for us to continue the well-being of our pooch.
If you want a veterinary practice that actually supports you and provides good advice and on how to care and provide a better life for your animal, these are the people.
Nothing is an inconvenience
The practice is clean and well presented and all staff are polite and informative. They re not pushy or seeking to break your bank. They genuinely care and are empathetic toward your pet.

Extremely helpful, they took wonderful care of my kitten. Accessible with parking available. Also they have an after hours and emergency clinic via Vets Now. Highly recommended and great to have a wonderful clinic like this nearby

I've been coming to Barnfield with my pets for over a decade. The vets and nurses are kind and caring towards our rabbits, cats and parrots. Def recommend this place.

Dr. J Patel has been my dog's vet for a few years now, and we've received nothing but exceptional service from both him and the nurses. Every visit is a pleasure because you receive honest, genuine advice. I cannot recommend this practice enough!

The manager Laura is terrible, she talks to clients like they are idiots and she deliberately embarrassed a staff member in the reception area. If she treats staff that way I dont want to know how she treats pets behind the scenes. Never coming back.

Trusted veterinary practice. We have been with them for over 10 years. Pets are well looked after. I would definitely recommend them.

We used Barnfield as our vets from when they originally were set up c1988? Until 2013 when we moved to Eastbourne. In that time they looked after our 9 cats seeing them from kittens through to mostly a grand old age. Some had rare conditions and we had a couple of horrendous emergency situations and at every point the service we got was first rate. Their compassion, their professionalism, their knowledge and skill is exceptional. Good vetinary care is not cheap (neither would our medical be if we didn't have the NHS) but you get what you pay for and with insurance to help out, we never resented what Barnfield charged. We only wish they would move to Eastbourne!!

Very poor experience.Two companies operate form this premises. Emergency Vets and Barnsfield vets. My dog was admitted as an emergency, by the Emergency Vet who told me they would claim direct from the insurer and I would not need to worry More

We have had pets (cats, dogs, hamsters) since I was a little girl. At Barnfiled they are so good at making both us and the pets feel comfortable. They give all the required information and are very responsive. We recently had our family dog put to sleep due to illness and they were great. They made him feel safe and happy and gave us all the time we needed with him both before and after (we found it very emotiona). Thank you.

We can't recommend these guys highly enough. Having had experience with some pretty awful vets elsewhere recently, it was incredibly relieving to see some vets who seem to genuinely care about the well being of our dog.
