Local place that is a favorite to visit! Good for a night away or with kids. Food and drinks are great. Awesome daily specials!

Good food and great selection of beers. No pizza on menu. Onion rings were yummy.

A recent spur of the moment visit led us here, and later led us away disappointed. First disappointment was the measured pour at the bar, we refuse to order drinks from a measured pour bar. Second disappointment was the temperature of the food. The pineapple pork street tacos were warm at best, but had a good flavor. The Cranberry Chipotle BBQ Chicken sandwich was outright cold - which I do not think it is supposed to be, but again has good flavor. These items would have been outstanding if they were hot (or even warm). We did not have time to send the food back for rewarming. We did mention our concern to the bartender, but got the obligatory - "I'm sorry". Third disappointment, we ordered a mac and cheese dinner to go from the junior menu, which is supposed to include Fries and applesauce. When we got home, much to our dismay there were no fries! A perfect ending to our unimpressive experience. Fortunately for the Barley Pop, and unfortunately for the consumer, there are not a lot of dinner choices in the downtown main street Germantown area. We cannot say we will go back.

Amazing fish fry. I definitely recommend the perch. Sometimes perch can taste fishy, but that's never happened to me here. If you aren't in the mood for fish, their burgers are good. The price isn't bad, either!

The staff are really good about wearing masks!!! I had to stop going to some of my other fish fry spots because none of the staff wear masks. The servers and bartenders are also attentive and friendly.

Food was amazing. Our server was great, super nice. However he said no one was available to sell gift cards as a manager wasn't there? I would've bought one for my belated Christmas exchange. Also, no social distancing of tables, but thankfully it wasn't very busy. We will likely be back.

Good food, but incredibly slow service.. took us 2 hours to get lunch here on a slow Sunday. Stopped here for a family lunch, there were only 2 tables when got there, but for some reason it took nearly 30 minutes to get drinks, and then another hour until we got our food. Would have enjoyed it more if our kids weren't having royal meltdowns because they waited an hour and half before eating.

Food was surprisingly good. Promptly booted from lower area without notice, Badger game turned off with 5 min left. Lower area and bar area was sparsely attended on a Friday evening.

Not really impressed with the Thursday Wing Special. Wings were not terrible, but rather flavorless. Drinks are on the expensive side. 18 wings (they're on the small side) and 3 drinks was $30 without a tip. Service was good, but the place was almost empty.
