Great music.... decent drink prices. Doesn't get too crowded. Upstairs has an awesome ambiance.

Poorly staffed with rude individuals. Not a single drink was correct. Having previously owned clubs in NYC, this place wouldn't stand a chance against decent place. Extremely horrible experience

80s bar crawl, music wasn't well mixed but drinks were cheap so I guess thats a plus.

Super fun place to go for a night out dancing. House music on the rooftop, and hip hop inside. Friendly crowd.

An excellent time, no cover if you show up early enough, and enough music to keep you moving until the morning shows up. You won't be disappointed.

Good location but small in size. It does have two levels and different music but table service is small and music can be dated depending on the day you go.

Good place to catch up with friends. Looking forward to coming back with my friends. Feels similar to a restaurant in Philadelphia that I enjoyed visiting.

A place for the grown up ravers to go. Long live House, Progressive and Trance!

I've been going here for 10+years and I still love it. The music is just phenomenal especially on the roof when they get down.

This place was so horrible it use to be so beautiful and fun it was one of my husband's and I first dates so we tired out for Birthday this year we where extremely disappointed no more cool art work and they had some big white tent thing.... over the top floor that was my favorite part to dance in the rain and here cool beats. It has lots all of it's charme not worth the cover or My time. Some guy was getting beat up out side just Felt like Pa Trashylace to be if u have class.

Super fun and energetic atmosphere. We loved the complimentary drinks and the added benefit of two levels. Rooftop patio also has dance floor, DJ, and bar. Here DJ played dance/house music, while downstairs it was hip-pop. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the club could use a renovation; the blank walls downstairs were uninspiring and out of place for a club.

Reasonable prices drinks. Free admission before 11p. 2 floor, 2 genres of music. Great dance club.

A 2-story club, including a rooftop level which is perfect for those late Summer nights. Not even 3 minutes away from the 3rd St/Washington light rail station, it's next door to Monarch Theatre.

Went there to dance. Loved the roof top dance floor. Great house music all night. Best place to dance to house music in Phoenix!

One of my favorite bars in Phoenix with awesome DJs, energetic crowd, a lightshow, good pours and all at rooftop. Drink, smoke, dance or watch dance-offs. Pure enjoyment!

It's just always weird going to events on nights when the downstairs is shut down. Kinda depressing.

Pretty good club, the roof is the place to be. Used to be a really great vibe, now it's a bit too commercial for my tastes. Good place to go after dinner with friends

Was here on a date. We saw the star show that was heavily political but good nonetheless. There was plenty to talk about given the well kept exhibits and the overall relaxed vibe produced by the low lights. The staff is friendly and happy to help. This is a lively event without the mayhem that is common of similar. There's plenty of space to move around. We never felt cramped or overwhelmed. This was our second date and there have been many since.

First time here. It was a friends birthday and we decided to try it out. It was a $10 cover for Saturday night they had two different DJ's one on the first floor that had old school and extremely energetic music. The crowd was enjoying themselves. We went to the second floor/balcony and that was a different type of crowd, it was kinda hipster. The music selection was fantastic. It's a great place were two types of crowd come in and enjoy each other's music. Absolutely loved it.

Fantastic drinks, great music and a phenomenal set of bartenders. One in particular named Alex with curly hair was AMAZING. From the moment we sat down he was friendly and helpful!

I love the mix of this place. First floor plays hip hop and the second floor roof top plays house music/edm. There s a cover charge, usually about $10 but their drinks are cheap. I come here for the music and because I just love being on roof tops seeing the skyline around me. Pretty unique place in downtown Phoenix.

Great location. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. The DJs here consistently impress, making Bar Smith one of Phoenix's best dance venues. Fridays and Saturdays get busy, with more crowds coming in by 11. This place always sports a positive vibe.

Place was totally dead when i went on a Friday night. The DJ seemed to be on his game but no one really showed up. I had a fun time people watching from the roof though. Check out the place next door Monarch. That place seemed to attract alot of people.
