One of the best dining experiences in the city! From food to atmosphere this restaurant definitely lives up to it's reputation, and is worth the price. I'd highly recommend trying one of they cocktails as it was one of the best I've had. Ever. And not to forget the food, the seafood dishes were awesome, and so was dessert. Go to this restaurant on a special night out...you won't regret it!

As everyone says, this place was great. Came on a Thursday night - place was full from 7pm onward. Service at the bar was lovely. The food is the showstopper. Each item ordered was perfect and fairly priced for size, quality and quantity.
The bone marrow was a delight. The snow pea leaves - perfect. The olives and pickles are what you should expect. The foie gras was delicate and spiced with a homemade soppresata which gave it an interesting kick. The grilled octopus is by far the best I've found in the city.
Already planning a return visit to try the rest of the menu.
Thanks Bar Isabel!

Food was absolutely delicious and well thought through. The ambiance was so relaxing and cool! Lost a star for me because the service could have been a bit more hospitable (e.g. I was made to feel awkward when asking for a run through of the menu) but otherwise good experience.

Go here. Just do it. Everything is as good or better than what you ll get at La Rosa in Palma, street XO in Madrid, House or an equally strong establishment elsewhere in Spain. The bone marrow is truly sinful. The best meal I ve had in Toronto in recent memory.

The service and cocktails were very good. The food we ordered was definitely not. The octopus and steak was mushy. The chorizo was very dry. The bone marrow was the only good thing about the order. Was disappointed especially with all the recommendations.

Cozy place with great food and drinks. The only thing that my friend and I were a tad disappointed was how salty the veggie/sauce was on the grilled octopus dish. Otherwise, everything was well made. We especially loved the feature charcuterie of pork shoulder. Prices are a bit high, but well worth it to try. I'd go back to try other dishes and drinks.

This place is truly special, the waiter was incredibly attentive and took a great deal of time talking us through the different dishes and the food was sensational. The tuna, the celeriac and mushrooms were unbelievable, and the tongue was a new taste experience, but one to be repeated! We would highly recommend to anyone visiting Toronto. Thank you for a delicious evening!

Vegetarian Unfriendly, in every sense of the phrase

I went in with a party of eight. We were told that we had to do the tasting menu. We were asked what our price range was: between 60-80 dollars a person. Uh ok. We chose 70: weirded out by having to decide on a price right away, and not being able to see a menu.

The waitress asked if we had dietary restrictions. I told her I was a vegetarian. Not a problem; she assured me there would be plenty of vegetarian options.

There weren t.

I could only eat 1/3rd of the dishes. None of them were protein-rich. Green beans with salsa, a light salad, artichoke hearts, and some cheese. Oh, and a basket of bread.

After the second course came out of shrimp, trout, and artichoke hearts, those in my party asked the waiter if more substantial vegetarian options were coming, reminding him that that I was a vegetarian. He assured us that there were.

There weren t. The next course was steak, sausage, and GREEN BEANS.

I was charged the full price, plust the 20% gratuity of course.

Totally unpleasant dining experience, when a vegetarian has to ask, then ask again, for SOMETHING of substance: beans, rice, lentis. It s especially annoying to be ignored and treated like an afterthought. You want to complain but don t want to ruin the experience for those of your party. But they re all aware of the problem and try to confront the serving staff who simply ignore them.

This place fills up fast so it's best to make a reservation especially during peak hours. The staff is passionate and attentive. The portions stay true to tapa style plates and the quality behind each dish is impeccable. There is a true attention to flavor and dedication to the culinary arts. The atmosphere, service and food were amazing. Our favorites were the pan con tomato, whole sea bream ceviche and shrimp a la plant. It felt like we were in Spain! We will definitely be back!

Stellar menu. Fantastic cocktails. Superb, personal service. Dark and romantic. Though a little too loud, so bring a few friends to out talk everyone! Server gave me a special birthday ice cream treat. Highly recommended.
