Bank Square Books Review

I've never been there in person but just recently experienced a fantastic event organized by them! I discovered the phenomenal chef and restauranteur, Erin French, by way of her brand new series THE LOST KITCHEN on Magnolia Network found in the Discovery+ app. AMAZING!!!

I found an online/virtual event about Erin, her memoir book with guest appearances including Ina Garten-The Barefoot Contessa!!!! It was being presented by Bank Square Books AND I also received a signed copy of the book with my online event ticket. I was in Foodie obsessed lover Heaven!! Just received my book, wrapped beautifully yet simplistically in butcher paper and with the bookstore stickers....exactly like The Lost Kitchen aesthetic and I loved it! I def plan to visit this place now and bonus because it's in Mystic, CT.....home of one of my all time favorite movies, MYSTIC PIZZA!!!!

Love this Indi book store...It's great. Filled with more than just books (great books)...gifts and journals and kids games. I wish I had ALL the MONEY. I'd spend it with Bank Square. Don't let your Indi stores fall to on-line. These folks are an integral part of our community. Show them some love!

It's a wonderful, independent bookstore. They have different, well marked sections, & they carry cards and gifts.

A true book store. Helpful staff, loads of light streaming in and large spaces around hundreds of books. You just want to stay for hours.

I went during COVID and the staff were fantastic. They limit the people in the store so you may have to wait a few minutes during busy times, but worth the wait. Great selection of books, more than you think! Hope to return next time I'm in town :)

Amazing and fun! Something there for just about anyone.

A good reminder that a trip to the bookstore is far more enriching than ordering it online.

My favorite bookstore in Connecticut. Well stocked, fabulous local section and the staff is absolutely wonderful. If you're looking for something they don't have, just ask and they will get it for you. If you're in the area, don't miss it. I cannot recommend Bank Square Books enough

Awesome little book store with decent variety...definitely worth checking out

First time visiting this book shop and I was super impressed! I love an independent book store so I always try to stop in wherever I can find one. This bookshop is big and filled with lots of neat things. They also limit shoppers with passes so they can keep track of the amount of customers in the store. Great idea for social distancing and the store was super clean and fun to browse! Definitely recommend!

The epitome of what an independent book store does and does right. Found everything I needed and then some. Plus they wrap your gifts at no charge. Great store, owner and employees.
