I love this place but getting reservations is a total pain, the reservation staff must be way understaffed. Called for room reservation took more than 24 hours to get a call back. Today called to try and add a tee time, again put on hold and told they would call me back. Guess that means tomorrow they will. Please hire some people obviously you are busy enough.
McKee's pub has great fish and chips and a good beer selection.

This is the best golf resort in America. There are 4 world class 18 hole courses, a 13 hole par 3 course, an 18 hole putting course, and a 9 hole par three course. Their practice center is well thought out and a great place to get your game in shape. The absolute best part of the resort is the staff. They go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied with the experience. There are a variety of room options from single rooms to cottages that have four separate rooms and a common area. Nothing beats Bandon Dunes Golf Resort and their True Service.

Great course, very expensive. The reason for four stars is that if you are a mediocre golfer this is not that much fun. I would rather place bandon crossing , better course and fewer people looking at me as I drop ball.
Beautiful course with amazing views. Not easy with the wind but the beauty around you makes up for all the difficulties. I am not a good golfer but had a great time.
If you golf, you must go! It's unlike no other paradise. And don't skimp, treat yourself to a professional caddie, they will increase your enjoyment fourfold.

Yeah, until you have golfed here, you have no idea what golfing here is like. It is an incredible experience. It is 100 percent golf. You walk no carts. Prepare for 2 rounds a day, there is little else to do. You can use a caddy and I highly recommend it. They cost you about 100 bucks a round. You are pretty much eating resort food. This is an inclusive resort and there is not much to do if you don't golf. Nearby there are a few small towns that cater to summer traffic to see the sand dunes and the ocean. The courses are all exceptional and they are building a new one in 2019 that won't open for a year. Be prepared for wind. Be prepared for high scores. This is a once in a life time trip that I have been doing now for a decade. The prices increase into the summer and go down in the late Fall. I always golf in the late winter, early spring. I've gotten trounced by the weather only once. It's not fun when it is blowing and raining at the same time, but it happens. That happens on heli-ski trips too. But then, this is a special place, it's worth the weather risk. Do it before you can't walk 36, let alone 18.
Went for a luncheon. Was more than pleasently surprised at the portions and plating of the meal. The service was promt and the staff was more than capable of our parties needs.
Golf Paradise. You have to experience it to believe it is real. It really is golf as it was meant to be.
Son-in-law played golf there and was blown away from the course and sweeping beauty, he plans to go back again to be able to play the other courses. Wife, daughter, son-in-law and myself had lunch there, food and service was exceptional.

The twilight drive was peaceful and picturesque. Lovely setting. Tastefully laid out.
It's a good as it gets. Disneyland for golfers and foodies. Get there, stay there, don't leave for a couple days. Play every course you can. Be sure to check out the Preserve for a fun 13 hold par 3 that benefits local charities, and the Punchbowl for a fun putting only course.
My favorite courses are 1) Old Mac 2) Bandon Dunes 3) Bandon Trails 4) Preserve and 5) Pacific Dunes (only because it's SO similar to Bandon.

Don't stay if you're not a golfer. Your room will likely be tucked in the mosquito-interested woods with no views. Terribly decorated. Had to change rooms because of suspected mold in the first 2 bedroom suite we rented. Staff was very nice.

Went for a nice lunch, was pleasantly surprised. While not cheap it was affordable, good portions of fresh food. Onion rings were flawless. View was incredible - golf course greens with ocean in the distance!

We like to go to dinner at the Dunes when we're staying in Bandon. Food is great and servers are wonderful! A little pricey, but a nice spot for a dinner splurge.

Jeff the shop manager have this place dialed right in. As per everyone on here the place is the Disneyland of golf. Go play like no other golf experience I have done.

The best golf in America. Once you can tee off from the middle of a medieval college town it ll be the best golf in the world. But I was pretty dang charmed by the town of Bandon too.
It's the best golf resort period, there is no other place that caters to golfers better then Bandon. Not one thing negative to say about anything there.
This is a golf experience you can't miss. The scenic beauty and difficulty is the best money you can spend in the USA. Doral, Pinehurst (all of them), Torey Pines, Pebble Beach have nothing on this...except when the wind blows.

This place isn't for everyone. If you can walk two rounds a day or more and love golf this place is for you. We played 9 rounds in three days. I lost two toenails. I can't wait to go back. Change your socks and shoes after every round. You will than me when you are done. Say hi to Shoe at the bag drop for me.

Absolutely stunning but be ready to drop some serious cash, but that's what keeps it nice too. They really need to upgrade the sauna/hot tub.
Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, and Bandon Trail are all awesome courses. Old Macdonald is horrid. Zero grass, rock hard fairways and greens. Greens and fairways had more seeds than grass. It looks like they should have waited another year to open it.
It is also inexplicably expensive and the cigar smoking game room was ridiculous in the stench and amount of smoke billowing through the building. Very gross.
A definite bucket list golf destination. They know how to do it right.

Courses are beyond amazing! Exceeded our expectations....just superb! The way golf should be played! Hotel accommodations, staff, service , courtesy and restaurants I can't give it all enough praise. We were blown away by the entire experience at Bandon! Goodness, if you are a golfer this absolutely should be a bucket list item!! Treat yourself, you will NOT be disappointment!!!! If you come away disappointed it is your fault and you simply cannot be satisfied.
This is my first time to Bandon Dunes. I showed up and immediately played their par-3 13 hole course. It is spectacular. Do not miss taking the opportunity to come play here. I cannot wait for the next five rounds!
Bandon Dunes gave a 4 person tee time to a food pantry that I volunteer for. I was able to win the tickets at the pantry Winter Gala, and went to play golf with friends. This is one of my favorite vacations ever! The golf was fantastic, the weather was perfect, and Bandon's staff was amazing. I was able to buy a new shirt and jacket, a few pairs of socks, and had a GREAT meal there. My wife's massage was the best massage she ever had. THANK YOU BANDON FOR A GREAT WEEKEND. We will be back!

Just a quick stop for lunch while passing through Bandon OR on this trip. Lunch was fantastic. The service was what you would expect from a resort the caliber of Bandon Dunes and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Just sad that there was no time in the schedule to play golf! I'll be back ...

Just came back from a trip with 7 others, the courses are amazing. What an incredible piece of land these courses are on! The staff was super friendly and the F&B was awesome. Surprised how fair the prices were on cocktails and F&B! A must for your top courses to play list! Took caddies for all our rounds, Christian was awesome! To top it off one of our guys had a hole in one on the Trails course on 12. 224 yard three wood. This place is a must play!
The resort has been phenomenal to this point. Whether it is the extremely acommodating and friendly staff, the all around excellent food (consistently delicious), helpful rangers and the golf! The courses live up to everything you read and then some. Truly worth whatever it takes to experience this.
Just stopped by to grab a drink at McKee's Pub and look at the view off of the first tee. Fantastic environment, friendly staff. I hope to play here one day soon.
