As a yearly visitor (over 10 years and counting) I can honestly say that there is no other organization I am aware of that delivers a world class golfing experience as good as Bandon Dunes. Every detail is taken care of and combined with the natural setting it is truly a golfers paradise.

Despite being a wonderful resort, their lodging and tee time policies are incredibly rigid and extractive, with the clear goal of zapping every dollar from their guests. You must stay on premise to have a chance at getting a tee time. All kinds of upcharges for non resort tee times. They will guarantee you can't escape without dropping $3K. A very elitist pricing model, but of course they intended it that way.

the most amazing place on earth. go for a few days and visit the 'mansniland' of the pacific northwest. 6+ courses, reasonable drinks and food prices, an oasis for golfers not to be missed if you can get a booking. (book early - like a year in advance)

The entire experience is first class. Everyone is helpful and friendly, going out of their way to make sure that you have a great visit. The rooms are spacious and high end, while retaining a very comfortable feel. Obviously the big draw is the golf, and it doesn't disappoint. With five courses, each with their own quirks and character, there really is no need to ever leave the property. Beyond golf, the hiking trails provide a great nongolf activity for the rest of the family. The restaurants allow for everything from a gourmet experience to a British pub feel, something for everyone.

My experience at Bandon Dunes has been the highlight of my golfing life. I had no idea when I arrived how much fun I would have playing links golf! My caddie, which I kept for all four rounds, gave me great advice and helped me keep the ball in play. The lodging was comfortable, the food excellent, and every single staff member was friendly, professional and helpful. I am counting the days until my next visit!

This place is amazing! Be prepared to be consistently amazed by the beautiful scenery. Around every turn on each of the courses is a unique perspective of how links golf was meant to be played. Bring rain gear because the conditions can change quickly. The staff I met were all very helpful and friendly. I lost a few small souvenirs on my trip back home and called the Inn hoping they were in the lost and found. They were unable to find my items but actually replaced them at no cost. Talk about customer service! Excellent golf and staff!

Just wrapped up my first trip here with 3 of my buddies... reading some of the reviews...
- this is not really a golf vacation as its more so a golf mecca type retreat so if you're not here as a golf purest, this may not be for you.
- With the overall high quality of the golf, resort grounds, restaurants, shops, accommodations, bag and caddie services and non-stop shuttles, this will not be an inexpensive trip but compared to other premier golf destinations, you may see it as somewhat of a bargain.
- I particularly found the pricing of the food surprisingly affordable for what you get... every meal I had here was really good and did not break the bank like other touristy resorts. Full menus are on their website... no gouging going on there for sure.
Lastly, my group had a blast, the golf was spectacular, the caddies were an awesome experience (4 rounds), and I can say without hesitation that we'll be back, most likely with other friends (maybe golfing wives) in tow. Even with COVID restrictions around flying, driving and OR laws shutting down the restaurants by 10pm, or the couple of minor hiccups with the services, none of those small items had an effect on this being a bucket list trip fulfilled hopefully with repeat annual trips.

The scenery is breathtaking. The entire staff is courteous, helpful and kind. I thought this was an amazing place. Each different restaurant had amazing food. My massage at the spa was great.

I enjoy the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort here by the Pacific Ocean. They have 4 ea. 18 hole golf courses , A 13 hole Preserve course , a 60 acre practice field plus a 9 hole practice course called " Shorties", several restaurants or Bistro style with more deluxe evening menus plus a nice Irish Pub that we all enjoy with hughe outdoor fireplace.

Amazing golf Disneyland! Caddies and staff are fantastic. Food and beverages are very reasonable. Come with your "A" game because the wind is brutal but a great golf experience. Will definitely go back and do it again and again.

I ve been here 3 times and each time was better than the last. If you don t like wind go sleep in your childhood room in your mom s house, but if you love golf you get yourself to Bandon Dunes. The staff, the lodging, the food and the caddies are great but watching your buddy try to lean his sliced drive back onto the cliff on 4 of Pac Dunes is a memory you ll laugh yourself asleep to for the rest of your life. Get there.

Stopped by Bandon Dunes McKee Pub for lunch and a drink. Throwback to a typical British style club house and bar, with a Scottish theme to their menu. Reservations are advised, especially at peak times or during good weather. Large mark up on their pricing due to where it is and their target market, but the food was delicious and waitstaff were very attentive.

Unless you stay at the lodge, good luck getting 36 holes per day tee times that work for you. Apparently if you are not staying at the lodge, you cannot book tee times before 10 am. until 21 days before desired date. Well, at that point, good luck on availability. What this means is that you are spending all this money to travel to this remote area and you may be only able to play 18 holes per day. They really cover this up well. Arrogance..

This is a really beautiful golf course in a tremendously beautiful setting. the only problem we had, the greens were in horrible shape. It could have been the time of year. Overall though this is a great place to golf.

If you're a serious golfer, you'll have an insanely good time here. It's completely unpretentious, and one of the few resorts that actually lives up to its tagline: Golf as it was meant to be. If Bandon were an hour closer to Portland I'd come down every weekend. Bonus tip: Although it's my least favorite of the four courses, the PacDunes GRILL has the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had.

The entire Bandon Dunes Resort experience was incredible! From the moment we arrived, we received first class treatment everywhere we went on the property. (Without the snobbiness you sometimes get at a certain Monterey area resort further south on the Pacific Ocean) The golf courses, caddie service, training facility, par 3 course, Punch Bowl and all of the bars/restaurants were top notch!! The four of us were already talking about next years trip back to Bandon Dunes within an hour of arriving there.
Thanks for making our trip so awesome!!

Where do I begin?!?!?!? The first thing I noticed was how friendly all of the team members were. From the guys who greeted you while dropping the clubs to the front desk, wait staff, pro shop and beyond. Very consistent it's like they all enjoyed and believed in the place. Then the golf, words can't express the golf. The beauty, the challenge, the peace and joy each course brought. I have never walked a full 18, thank you Mr Keiser for making these courses walking only. It is truly how golf was meant to be. Everyone, this is dream golf. Now for my caddie, Mr Nevin Eldenberger. He is the Yoda of Bandon Dunes, he showed patience with me and learned my game quickly, he kept me calm and focused. I'm a 19 hc and shot an 82 on Bandon Dunes with a triple and double, if it weren't for his guidance I would have had many more blow ups, so the answer is yes get a caddie and ask for Nevin,he isn't an outgoing guy, that's ok he doesn't need to be, this guy knows the courses like the back of his hand and works hard to make sure you play the best you can. You have to experience this for yourselves, and yes I will be back as many times as I can. Bravo Bandon, I didn't realize golf could be this good.
