Very overpriced as a wedding venue , others available locally which offer more for less , the food presented does not warrant the price being charged , perfect for those chasing the jones'

My husband and I had our wedding at the Ballymascanlon in March and we couldn t have wished for a better day. We would like to wholeheartedly thank the staff and management of the hotel for their hospitality, attention to detail and excellent service. From the ceremony to the meal and evening party, everything ran so smoothly and we felt so well looked after. Our guests absolutely loved the hotel itself; the grounds, rooms and facilities. The choice of menu options for the wedding meal was very extensive and every guests dietary requirements were catered to. For many of our guests it had been their first time at the hotel and they want to come back! The staff of the hotel made us feel so special and every little detail was refined and perfect from start to finish. We would highly recommend the Ballymac to any couples looking for a beautiful venue and professional team to look after you. We can t wait to our next stay in the near future

Says luxury on the tin and that's what you get. Ample parking, lovely golf course, excellent staff, quite lovely room and great food. Will be back for sure.

Comfortable hotel with many amenities. Some of the amenities in the leisure area were not operational. However very nice grounds. Staff were friendly and helpful

An upmarket hotel with clean, well appointed rooms and comfortable beds. Good food and service in the restaurant with what I would consider a good wine list. The grounds offer some excellent views, golf and a health resort

First impression was very nice and what looks like an old country estate, which is now a hotel. Grounds are lovely and good stop over for a break

Called in for sandwiches and tea, very nice would visit again.

Loved the hotel, the room the food, the staff the facilities all lovely. Would highly recommend it. One minor enhancement would be a second TV in the bar for those football fanatics like my husband! When the bar was busy he found it hard to watch the match. Not a criticism just a comment. Excellent all round

Amazing place, lovely surroundings, old world character, reasonable priced great food in bar, restaurant another fab foody experience, great leisure centre with friendly staff. All round 10 out of 10!

First time in this Hotel and would certainly return .The food is amazing from the breakfast buffet to the resturant and the pub grub . We had a family gathering of over 50 people and the Manager & staff were so helpfull in getting us all seated together as much as possible nothing was to much trouble Golf course & grounds around hotel were beautifully kept sure it has stunning views in summer time .

Warm atmosphere, delightful setting, and wholesome food...

We called in for a bar snack and a few drinks, has to be the best steak sandwich I've had in a long long time. My wife also enjoyed her curry. Definitely worth a visit. The grounds are very nice too.

Excellent service, good value food at reasonable prices

My parents stayed recently and we joined them for dinner, which was superb. It was so lovely to have a vegan option on the menu- including a delicious, chocolatey dessert. Our waitress was mindful of swapping out veg so it would be vegan without my having to ask. Realiiimpressed!

Wonderful day out...sunshine and 18 holes parkland golf followed by a beautiful meal in hotel restaurant. ..will definitely return

We had a wonderful night away in Ballymascanlon. All the staff were so attentive, particularly Carlos in the restaurant. The hotel and room was in immaculate condition and we'd definitely stay again

Lovely hotel and garden. Great food in restaurant. Great place for a short break

Stayed for a Wedding great service, good food and a nice clean room, one small criticism would be how close the heated towel rail is to the toilet, not exactly hygienic. Other than that fantastic, had a massive breakfast the next morning, just wish we could have hung about longer to make use of the facilities and grounds as I heard they are all excellent.

Beautiful location . Make sure to visit the dolman located on the golf course to walk off your feed .

Just had an excellent time staying mid week break. Service was great staff well trained. During these difficult Covid times the manager and staff while adhering to covid protocol never made us feel anything but welcome. I will be back. Thank you
