Beautiful location. Meal suffered from inattention to detail. Three of our party ordered lamb done pink and it was well done instead. Things were so slow at that point we were afraid it would take forever if we sent it back. After we finished and after sitting there for about 30 minutes, we had to ask the servers to clear our table. Disappointing after all we had heard about this place.

We spend a night at the Ballymaloe hotel and had the opportunity to have two wonderful meals, a late night pate and cheese snack, breakfast, and a lunch. Everything was exceptional, from the quality of the food to the service. We were blown away by the desserts, both a meringue chocolate cake, and the raspberry fool with shortbread cookies. For any of you foodies out there, this place is worth a detour or a trip to Ireland. We also toured the walled vegetable garden which is truly inspirational.

Loved it, loved it and guess what loved it some more. Bar is small but the cocktails and wine we had, alongside the 5 course meal are world class. No TVs in the rooms, who cares didn't go there to watch tv. Lovely walks around the grounds, we got a tour and the history of Ballymaloe. Absolutely loved this place and can't wait to return.

Great location, very nice setting in the countryside, large parking

Home very nice in the cozy lounge to have a drink while waiting for the table.

We are brought to our table through different rooms, different decorations.

Menu 75 , with different choices of starters and dishes. Everything was very good.
Very good advice also from the sommelier, who speaks French and who advocates organic wines.

Good address to remember
