I came to an interview in Bacotech while announcing the minimum bid for which I agree ($ 1500). Before this, HR in a telephone mode asked the same question and heard the same answer. They invited me for an interview a day later, thus indicating that my conditions were acceptable to them. At least that's what normal adults would think. As a result, the head of the department (chief interviewer) comes to the small office where I sit and HR Tatyana, asks me about work experience and so on (quite normal questions) and then comes the question of expected wages. When he sees the number 1500 on a piece of paper, he asks whether it is in dollars. I answer "of course." After that, he says that there are no such salaries in the company and retires after a minute. After that, I ask the HR question that spent both my time and my own and Eugene (sorry if I made a mistake with the name) - Why did you need all this? , To which she replies that they have different salaries, but with my experience I ve been working (I m 23, I ve worked with 18 first as an English teacher, for the last 1.5 years in sales and on support) they don t have such salaries.
Question: why it was impossible to agree BEFORE the interview ??? (my resume and work experience were sent earlier for review, the amount expected zp announced immediately).
The company may be good, but the work of the HR department leaves much to be desired.
