About BADGER REGION VOLLEYBALL ASSOCIATION
The Badger Region Volleyball Association is a non-profit organization that aims to promote safe, structured, and fun volleyball experiences for players of all ages. With a vision to grow the number of players, coaches, officials, spectators and other volleyball enthusiasts in the region, the association provides high-quality education, training and competition opportunities for everyone involved in the sport.
Founded in 1981 as a regional branch of USA Volleyball (USAV), Badger Region Volleyball Association has been instrumental in developing volleyball talent across Wisconsin. The association has grown over the years to become one of the largest regional volleyball organizations in the country with over 12,000 members.
The association's mission is to provide advocacy, support and recognition to its members while administering programs that promote growth and development within the sport. The Badger Region Volleyball Association offers various programs such as junior girls' club volleyball program which includes age divisions from 10U-18U; boys' club program which includes age divisions from 14U-18U; adult indoor leagues; beach tournaments; coaching clinics; referee clinics; scorekeeping clinics among others.
One of their most popular programs is their Junior Girls Club Program which provides young girls with an opportunity to learn about teamwork while developing their skills on court. This program has produced some of Wisconsin's top female athletes who have gone on to play at collegiate level or even professionally.
Badger Region Volleyball Association also offers coaching clinics for coaches at all levels - beginner through advanced - providing them with tools necessary for success on court. These clinics are led by experienced coaches who share their knowledge and expertise with aspiring coaches.
In addition to coaching clinics, they offer referee training courses where participants can learn how to officiate matches effectively. These courses are designed not only for those interested in becoming referees but also for players who want a better understanding of rules governing matches.
Another unique feature offered by Badger Region Volleyball Association is its Scorekeeping Clinics where participants can learn how keep score during matches accurately. This skill is essential not only for referees but also team managers or parents who want be more involved during games.
Badger Region Volleyball Association hosts several tournaments throughout year including Beach Tournaments during summer months when weather permits outdoor play. These tournaments attract teams from across Midwest region providing an opportunity compete against some best teams around!
