Bacone college Reviews

Horrible. Both my older brothers have attended college there for just a semester. The first incident they were in their dorm room when gunshots went off and it was the dorm room under them..... campus security does absolutely nothing and acts as if it's funny. The second and last time. My brother is alone and goes to class for 20 minutes, when he comes back a student of bacone is running away from the passenger side of his truck, my brother looks and they've broken his dashboard and his truck won't start,(wires had been cut)... we call campus security and they laugh as if it's a joke. I guess we should just laugh it off, while he's stranded in Muskogee. He gets to his dorm room and it's been trashed. Would not recommend this college to anyone who has morals and cares about their own well-being.

Enjoyed the community there on campus and the history of the place. Loved the beautiful buildings and grounds.

I got my degree here and I loved every minute of my experience. At big schools you are just a number. At Bacone, every student is valued and helped to achieve their goals.

Worse college experience of my life. So many things are wrong with that school. Leadership, education, sports, campus, housing, food, and student life sucks. Also way overpriced.. Save yourself the headache and enroll elsewhere.

Its a really nice campus. Very old but updated buildings. Everyone is very nice and take care of each other. Very intimate feel.

What a great place - the history is awesome & the people are too!

I attended, my son is now in attendance. He likes his classes, he has great teachers who have taught him more in a few weeks than he learned in all of private Christian School. There is help when he needs it and he loves the food which is so important to a freshman!

Worst college experience EVER! So unorganized and they only care about how many sports students they can recruit to get money. The dorms and building are falling down. Alcohol and pot parties nightly at the dorms (these are student athletes) Campus police is a joke and will do nothing. Housing was made aware of drug use but the coach did not want to drug test. Wonder if NAIA would like to know this? One female basketball player got alcohol poisoning and was taken by ambulance to hospital. No consequences was playing in next game. Assistant coach uses God's name in vain and drops the F bomb constantly during practice/workout. So much for a "Christian" based school. Honestly, if you can go ANYWHERE else do so. This school is overpriced and horrible. Financial aid gave me an award check then months later said they overpaid me and I'd have to pay it back WTH??? President is well aware and chooses to do nothing. Very disappointed in my first college experience.

I am graduate 2011. Still love comming back to visit MS. Jordan and VP Wambli.
