I have now been a number of times to enjoy the forest trails at Back2Basics in the rain and the sunshine, and have each time enjoyed it immensely. The naturalness of the vegetation and the well-treated pathways and trails make hiking a relaxing experience to be enjoyed by anyone who loves the tranquility of the outdoors. I have got to know the owners well and they are among the kindest and most hospitable people I have met. Thank you for sharing your special space with us. I will most certainly be back soon.

Facilities are ok but not the best and I had a good time but the guys were very strict and a little mean the lifeline walk was so much fun and we had good sleep though we did not have the best time to rest because the activities were very tightly placed on the schedule

My child was sent on a school camp here. The staff were cheeky and ruined the childrens fun. They don't care about the children, they treat them like they are in the army. Children want to do fun activities, not crawl through mud. My child had to crawl through mud against her will. She was crying and they just didn't care. She scraped her knees in the mud pit, because there was rocks at the bottom. The wound could've gotten infected! At the end of that horrible experience, they said that would make them a stronger person. It really doesn't. After that, only 3 showers had warm water. She got a cold after the camp, no wonder. Would absolutely not recommend.

It was such a great adventure! (I'm the American by the way). The staff members were very funny and kid friendly. It was so much fun, that I didn't want to leave! My experience in Cape Town is better than Maryland Baltimore.

I won't lie the campsite is very good...the facilitators were excellent. I was however not impressed by the way the Lady who owns the place treated us. She is not the best communicator and her customer service skills were poor. I wouldn't like to say maybe it's because of our skin colour, because the Husband is a very kind soul, but as for the Lady I was honestly not impressed.

When I was 12 we did this and I can say 1 thing, IT WAS AMAZING!!! The activities were great! The only thing that was a problem for me was probably the times when children got hurt and the staff would just carry on with what they were doing. I understand this place in supposed to 'drill' us and still make it fun. But seriously! When a girl got a thorn in her eye the instructor just kept on walking. Yet, this place was amazing!
