Babanango Valley & Africa Portrayed Review

Went there on a school trip and the workers were so kind and thoughtful.I will be going back soon,it's such a quiet place and the food is delicious.

This is really a walk down memory lane. I'm sure I stayed here in 1998. It was called Hall's Habitat. Two things stuck in my mind: the location and the wonderful couple who ran it (owned it?). I was several thousand miles from home - and have travelled several thousand more since, but this place has not yet been replaced by any dwelling since.

Great place to visit, most friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely visit again.

Amazing place. I visited this place during my Geology Field Trip. I really enjoyed it. Service is amazing. Again night we gathered around the fire and shared good stories. It just reminded me of times where I used to live in the rural area.

Amazing place for guests to relax and enjoy scenic views. As well as accommodation for school students on tour.

Friendly, thoughtful and welcoming staff. Very neat and warm spaces. Earthy and classy decor. A place that feels like home yet so luxurious. Big up to Mzi and the team. I really enjoyed my birthday weekend. The food was really good and they me a suprise birthday cake (I was almost in tears).The game drive will be have to the highlight. Bongani was the best guide ever. So knowledgeable 2 hours seem so little. Definitely coming back.

A wonderfully relaxing stay at the fabulous Babanango Valley Lodge with its beautiful rooms, colourful indigenous gardens & glorious pool. Bliss, especially on a hot, steamy KZN day.

A perfect day finished off with a G&T at sunset, followed by dinner under the stars in the boma. And then the most glorious sleep... definitely to be recommended

Phenomenal staff, excellent facilities and a really lovely view from the terrace and pool deck. The lodge is brand new. Rooms are a little dated, but I understand they are about to undergo a refurb. Look forward to a return visit in the future. Thumbalani made an amazing cake for my mother's birthday.
