I would recommend to not come to AZ Ice until after the pandemic is 100% over. They are not even attempting to enforce mask mandates. This morning there are over 70% of people in the building not wearing masks. So I cannot recommend this business for service or safety.

I particularly enjoyed the guy sitting in front of a masks mandated sign with no mask on coughing.

We took our 2.5 yr old twins to ice skate for the 1st time. When we got there we found out public hours had ended and it wouldn t open up again until a couple hours later. The person at the counter was so nice and gave me info on the youth programs and as were were talking, the guy who takes care of the ice said he was actually done and if we wanted to go ahead and skate we could! We were so grateful because our son was so excited to go ice skating and it was going to be hard to tell him we had to go home. Our daughter struggled on the ice and while we were trying to help her the GM was nice enough to walk out onto the ice to help her out! He spent a good 15-20 minutes to help her. It s so nice to see upper management care and enjoy helping out the kids! We signed them up for free intro to skating lesson and excited to register them for their youth programs once they turn 3 in June! Hoping to spend more time at this place (especially when it s hot) while our kids grow to love the ice!

Terrible all around ice rink, do not bring your kids here to play hockey! Management is understaffed, and does nothing to ensure the safety of their players or hockey leagues. Not to mention half the staff does not care to wear a mask, and they have a 0 enforcement policy that has led to a majority of their customers being maskless at all times. It is apparently known within the Phx area that the gm of all 3 AZ ice s- Jim Curley- is rude and not a good person to work with. Please take your hockey players to Ice Den s- Scottsdale location is great- and never play hockey here again.

Hockey is too small of a community to let concerns go unheard, and when I tried to bring some of my concerns to Jim s attention he refused to even speak with me. I have since spoken with Ice Den staff who treated me way nicer than any AZ Ice manager has in my years of being a customer. If you enjoy hockey, and want to continue to, do not play here.. instead GO PLAY ICE DEN SCOTTSDALE!

Great place me and my girlfriend had a blast there on valitines day. The other ice rink in east phoenix isnt open to public so it was cool to finally get some skating in. Workers and people skating were all pretty chill and good mix and vibe of skaters perfect place to take a date.

This place is local for the west side of Phoenix. Compared to the rinks on the East side (managed by the same parent company), there is much to be desired. They do offer a variety of hockey platforms from your to adult; as well as figure skating.

Went skating here last night, brought my two kids who were interested in skating. Fair prices good place to escape heat. Cafe with affordable prices of average rink food. Staff working had tampered with a stuffed toy of Elmo where seemed to be taped and hung very inappropriately. Not something I like my kids seeing at a family friendly place

It was my first time there so I did not know what to expect. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lockers had seen better b
days but I think that is expected given the foot traffic they see. The rink wasn't too crowded and the attendents were attentive.
