About Az magazine
AZ Magazine: Celebrating Diversity and Empowering the LGBT+ People of Colour Community
AZ Magazine is an online publication that aims to provide a platform for the LGBT+ people of colour community. The magazine was founded in 2015 by two friends, who felt that there was a lack of representation and visibility for this community in mainstream media. Since then, AZ Magazine has grown into a vibrant and dynamic publication that celebrates diversity, promotes inclusivity, and empowers its readers.
At AZ Magazine, we believe that everyone deserves to be seen and heard. We are committed to creating content that reflects the experiences, perspectives, and voices of our readers. Our team consists of writers, editors, photographers, designers, and social media experts who are passionate about making a difference in the world.
Our content covers a wide range of topics related to the LGBT+ people of colour community. We publish articles on current events affecting our community such as politics or social issues like racism or homophobia. We also feature personal stories from members within our community sharing their experiences with coming out or navigating relationships with family members who may not accept them for who they are.
In addition to these topics we also cover fashion trends within our communities as well as beauty tips specifically tailored towards people with darker skin tones which can often be overlooked by mainstream publications.
We understand how important it is for individuals within this community to have access to resources such as mental health support services or legal advice when facing discrimination at work or school so we make sure these resources are readily available on our website too.
One thing that sets us apart from other publications is our commitment to intersectionality - recognizing how different identities intersect (such as race/ethnicity/gender/sexuality) which can lead to unique challenges faced by individuals within those communities. This means we strive not only represent but uplift all marginalized groups including women/transgender/non-binary folks/people living with disabilities etc..
Our goal at AZ Magazine is to create a safe space for the LGBT+ people of colour community. We want our readers to feel seen, heard, and valued. We believe that by sharing our stories and experiences, we can inspire change and promote acceptance in society.
In conclusion, AZ Magazine is more than just an online publication - it's a movement. We are dedicated to celebrating diversity, promoting inclusivity, and empowering the LGBT+ people of colour community. Join us on this journey towards a more equitable world!
