I come here every Friday night to dance.

This is the best and only place in Antwerp where you can dance Salsa and Bachata every weekend in a pleasant and qualitative environment AND where you can also eat well in advance.

On Friday and Saturday evenings you can dance and watch Salsa and Bachata from 10.30 p.m. or 11 p.m. until 2 p.m.

Depending on the dancers present, just watching it is a pleasure for the eyes.

Last Friday (30/09/19) I had a very nice dance evening here; beautiful dance music from DJ Esk Arawi; a cozy atmosphere with dance friends who started dancing in groups and some old friends who came back after a long time to talk and dance. Very nice.

That is the advantage of Axxes for salsa dancers.
It is a fixed value that you can always go and where you know that you can find (old) friends that you can dance where you know your new dancers stay in Antwerp.

Nice food before or after a movie? Then you've come to the right place. Professional, friendly and flexible service. Fajitas, burritos and meat dishes or a delicious burger are great. Vegetarians will also find something here.

The nachos are delicious here, highly recommended. Staff were friendly, but it takes a while before you get someone. On the edge of pricey but you get value for money. Glasses are filled to the brim and portions are just right. Also very cozy to sit, both inside and on the terrace.

The food is really tasty here. But for the same money you can eat more refined elsewhere. Service was good, but the room was too busy. You could understand each other with difficulty, it is probably me at the decor of the building.

To speak from my own catering experience and to work for a 3 star chef on a 6 star cruise line, I can give you the negative. communicate dots. Axxes is the place where staff often strum on the mobile while dirty plates are waiting for him, where there is a debracing spot in the room where staff are quietly eating from the plates. At the debracing place, there is not even a washbasin where they can wash their hands after cleaning the plates, etc. Go through the hair without any after hygiene. The jeans shirts ok, but gentlemen please wear an undershirt before the swimming ponds under the arms, back etc start to appear. Beards in catering? Keep it nice and sexy please, not only for that reason, but also for the little unsanitary hairs that guests can find in their plates, even if they are not visible to the eye, they certainly are present. Plus point: the food was nice not to drink the cava.

Everything that is needed: fast, tasty and top service. Obviously not haute cuisine but just feel good food! Ideal for the film and Axxes is also worth a visit without a film! We come here every time again and have never been disappointed!
