Came here on a Saturday morning just as they opened to wait for a friend. Had a great cup of coffee and blackberry frangipane tart. Friendly staff and great ambience.

My only critique would be that the pastry on the tart was too thick, but that really is nitpicking.

A gorgeous little place to visit in the day for beautiful antiques but even better at night. It feels like a secret hideaway where you can while away your Friday night with a bottle of wine and good company. Even better when they have love music!

Lovely cosy, quirky place for a drink or cocktail (limited selection) in the evening and an added bonus if there is a live music act. But get there early as seats are limited. Bar staff lovely, but looked run off their feet!

Stunning and charming little cafe by day, wine/cocktail bar by night. (Friday and Saturday for the bar).

By far one of the best places in lewes, if not East Sussex.

The decor is brimming with authentic French antiques for the family owned antiques business next to it.
The food is amazing, headed by Pete the chef who has clearly knows his stuff
The wine is sensational. Try the Magneric if you don't mind spending a little extra, just leave some for me!
Relaxed and happy atmosphere. It's hard to be annoyed at anything when surrounded by such beauty.

There's also a huge courtyard which is so good from spring to autumn, when a rather large fire pit comes out to warm up the pstrons.

10/10 will go again!
