Avondale Truck Stop Review

Always a great place to drop in and either leave with more or less money than when you started.LOL

It was nice and peaceful at the Avondale Truckstop Casino. I didn't win but I had fun.

I worked here for 8 years and counting...pretty good place

I travel with a pet & this place has a nice area for him to run & play. The steam line always has good food & it's clean. Not much by way of amenities but the lot is a nice size & it's paved.

Really big lot with plenty of parking but also a bunch of locals saving spots. Had a hamburger in the restaurant and it was fantastic.

Good place to park but doesn't have much. Restrooms are not kept up. It is within walking distance to stores and restaurants.

Ma's kitchen, is amazing. The chicken from krispy kruncky and there home cooked food in there kitchen is absolutely delicious. Bike night every friday and such nice employees... I love that place..

Very nice and knowledgeable staff... Plenty of parking in well lit and safe secured lots. Very spacious showers. Casino is quaint and open all hours... All in all, great truck stop!

Good sandwich location breakfast is a lot for the money

My all-time favorite casino, a tie with cash Magic on the Westbank Expressway in Marrero. Avondale truck stop Casino. And unlimited cranberry juice, wwhhaaaaatt!?!?!?

Been there two years ago, us europeans travelling in a van through the US. Slept and showered at Avondale Truck Stop and the owner gave all the leftover food his wife made to us. Great Guy and would love to come back again.

Old broken down trucks all over parking lot dirty rest room was even going to eat their yuk ok to park but bring food or be prepared to walk a couple of blocks to the wendys down the street or go to grocery store across the street from wendys

Not much to see here, but the people here are always friendly and pleasant to deal with. Much better service that at the other options in the area.

The stop has been remodeled and is very nice but the food was not worth the cost.

Went to gamble, broke even. And the free drinks were a win.

Concrete lot. Most likely to find a spot or make one of your own. Free to park. Many dropped trailers for the most part. Restaurant serves breakfast lunch, I believe dinner. Video poker attached to restaurant. Located at the Texaco gas station

I really enjoy going at night. The lady that gives you change and cashes your tickets out is really nice. I can't think of her name, but she wears glasses and has dark hair lol. Pretty much everyone that works there is friendly including the security guards. You normally see a lot of the same faces when you go. I prefer this casino over the other ones around my area because it's a more familiar and friendly atmosphere. Also the machines pay out nice and often.
