I am a businessman and I think you should avoid this store at all cost. Stay away. Here is what happened:
I took my antique and one of a kind ring to the store three weeks ago and asked the owner to only increase the size. The owner who is a mature man did that but he used some sort of cleaning acid on the silver and because of that there are several holes on my ring now. He also removed the antique black color on my ring. I told him that the ring had black lines but he denied it at first and started shouting at me. I was smart enough to keep a picture of my ring before taking to him and he accepted after seeing the pic. keeping my cool and being very respectful, I told him to put the color back and once he did it, he wanted to charge me and once I told him I was not going to pay him for his mistake he said and I quote " you rich people pay so much for the ring and do not want to pay for my work". he used a horrible black material which to date I still have on my finger and I do not know how to remove the color from my ring finger.
Here is my experience in summary:
1. The owner ruined my antique ring, the one I paid so much for and now it has holes in it, holes that go from one side deep to the other side.
2. He did not notice that the black color on the antique ring was not supposed to come off.
3. He insulted me, as a customer, and wanted to rob me at all cost, just because my ring was antique.
4. The owner used some sort of black chemical to replace the original black color. The material was so horrible that instead of sticking to the ring, it has stuck to my finger and I am worried about the health and I have no idea how to remove it. I am meeting my doctor for health hazards associated with this chemical contamination as I am worried about my health.
5. The owner lied about my ring having black lines and he would not accept it until I showed him the picture.
6. He overcharged me without telling me the details and I would not have noticed it had I not asked about it.
The most horrible experience that I have ever had with a business.
