Don t expect anyone to answer a phone. Hve called over two dozen times over a span of 3 weeks and still can t get ahold of a single person to talk about concerns I have with my newborn. Absolutely unacceptable will never go back.

I called Goodwin on Tuesday morning with an urgent medical matter, wanting to be seen. (I m an established patient) No one answers the phone there any more so I had to leave a message. No one called back on Tuesday. I left a voice mail on Wednesday morning, no response. Left another on Wednesday afternoon. No response. Left a message on Thursday (today) morning. NO RESPONSE! My condition has been worsening with no response from Goodwin so I am currently sitting in the Emergency room. I feel so betrayed by the people I ve been trusting with my health! It s a fine line between simple incompetence and gross negligence and Goodwin, you re walking it.
This place is Awesome the staff is Awesome very helpful very friendly. My Doctor is Awesome You need a pharmacy You need blood work You need a Dentist Their is only one thing that's missing for me and anyone that don't drive in the winter is for the Pharmacy is to have delivery on medicine. A mental health care person there tried diagnosing me with several new problems within the first 40 minutes of meeting her. I knew for a fact none of them were relevant because I had a mental health doctor for over 2 years who spoke with me for months before coming to me with any diagnoses and they were MUCH different than the label this lady slapped onto me here. My telehealth meetings were only ever about 30 to 40 minutes instead of an hour due to my lady constantly being late. She also didn t retain any information I told her, constantly zoned out, checked her phone or computer while I was talking, never listening with intent or looked at me, barely spoke, often said uhhhh....What should we talk about next?....Do you have anything you think you d like to talk about? I saw her maybe 3 or 4 times before I told her I didn t want to see her anymore. She then gave me attitude and said well I mean. This is your health we re talking about here. So I guess if you really want to do this then fine. Your call. The care here disgusts me beyond belief. No one gives a damn about you at all. I felt worse being there than I did trying to deal with it all on my own.
I have been coming here for years! I never had an issue...If I was to "rate" them I would have given a 4 ! But for the past 3 months they have not answered their phone! I had no choice but to find alternative care!
I've never written a review but I feel compelled to write one to save anyone the trouble of going through this atrocity of a medical clinic. They rarely give call backs in dire situations. Their wait times are horrendous and their doctors seem to have no cool as to what they are doing. I've had to diagnose MYSELF in order to get the proper treatment. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE! you will find NO HELP here. If I could give negative stars I would. AVIS GOODWIN IS HIGHLY INCOMPETENT
Mary was excellent in helping me get set up with insurance. She s very caring. My Dr on the other hand isn t very knowledgeable. I went in for a check up and Uti urine test. Came back negative. I went over tio fill my reg scripts. A month later I called to refill. They had been canceled by my Dr for high levels of alcohol and pot. Lmao I don t do either one. Seriously don t do either 1. The meds I do take should of shown up on the test but didn t. I demanded a new test they won t for 6 months which leaves me no meds. A med your not to stop cold turkey he stopped cold turkey. They refuse to do another test and also sent it to a lab for further testing with my knowledge. A urine test for a uti does not need to be sent out!!!! The dr never called to discuss this issue either. They never return phone calls very frustrating.
DO NOT EXPECT THESE PEOPLE TO CARE ABOUT YOU in any way, shape or form. Whether it s for primary care, mental health or otherwise. They are NOT THERE FOR YOU.
As a patient of 5+ years, I am going on the 4th day of trying to reach an actual individual for an urgent physical injury. There s not a single person to be reached, and of all the calls I ve made only one was returned- at an hour before the office opens, when everyone is still asleep. The extension given by them to call back goes directly to a voicemail.
It s impossible to reach Goodwin Community Health. Forcing patients to than go to Urgent care, which cost me $987 for 10-15min on Medicare the last time I went.
This is an extremely innapropriate situation and still doesn t even broach the issues I ve had with their mental health team (who cast me aside and left me crying for hours after claiming my issues were too much for them to handle when I questioned why my blood draws were getting lost in their system).
Be very aware. I wouldn t trust these people unless you have absolutely no alternative.
HORRIBLE customer service, i was having severe medical issues and told them I needed to be seen by a doctor and the receptionist wasn t professional whatsoever. We set up an appointment for January 21 when it was November 19th. That s fine whatever if that s the soonest I don t mind waiting I understand I can t always get in right away. Fast forward to Jan 21st (today). Advis called me at 7am to tell me my doctor who id never met with yet and was my very first appointment in 5 years. That she was not going to be in today and that I needed to reschedule, I say no problem, but id like it to be soon because my condition is just getting worse. She says okay, does March 23 work? so moral of the story is their wait times are extremely long and they unprofessional and are very unreliable. It s sad because they were my first choice of a doctors office and it s even more sad a 18 year old has to write this
