I was really disappointed with my experience at Aviation Seminars. The class size was small, which I initially thought would be a good thing, but it actually made the experience worse. At the start, the instructor asked everyone about their IFR knowledge. Two of my classmates said they were pretty confident, while I was just okay—not as knowledgeable as they were. Because of that, the instructor rushed through the material, assuming we were all on the same level. He barely went into detail, which made it hard for me to keep up. Instead of adjusting to the needs of all students, the class felt catered to the more experienced ones, leaving me struggling to fill in the gaps. For the price, I expected a much more balanced and thorough learning experience. I wouldn’t recommend this seminar if you're not already well-versed in IFR.
