Avera st. luke's hospital Reviews

If I could give them a negative star I would. They are currently holding my husband hostage and are refusing to release him. They are also refusing to release any information about him to me stating he didn't sign a release of information. He says he did when he was admitted on Tuesday. They are also denying him the CPAP machine he needs to sleep saying they can't give him one with the floor he is on. And they are saying they are sending him to Yankton against his and our families will. I am very disgusted with how they are treating my husband and myself. I will NEVER take him to Avera ever again.

Im new here n jus for a while.. I truly couldn't be "Thankful enough" to All of them! Thank you especially Dr. Pietz..in the ER He figured out just How to talk to me in a kinda way.. Id listen,, To me he was a very "fun sincere & caring Dr." As well thank you Candice ,,Where i come from? I've never been treated so well n "taken so fast" Im thankful altho" I hear ya on the reviews "about pain" but I Speak for myself only,,all you complaing about not getting pain medz on demand? I too was in pain.."Mix" a few aspins up! same effect lol if not I do get what ya looking for :) I do.. And thats why they'll flag you!!" Think...? ya cant put a price on a life? and OR "good Drs." and a very clean Hospital.. I live life because its Priceless :)) everyone has their own experience i guess! Thanx Again Avera Staff of Aberdeen S. Dakota ... lol ill survive... :) But Ill be back For the Hot Pink Cast in a few..

Requires an untested vaccine for employees endangering patients and caregivers. Disgusting

I m so thankful and find the good people around this hospital. We were visited Aberdeen and my dad was very sick and we have to sent him there. Our first time so we don t know how they will treat us, but the ER staff there is so helpful and understanding. Not only ER but every single Staff and doctors around there is so excellent except one person but I don t mind. We don t speak English so well and fluently but they understand us and listen to us. When my dad very sick till they have to move him to Sioux Fall, SD to get Medical treatment because they don t have Doctors who acknowledges my dad is sickness, they re still beside me and encourage me to be strong. Now my dad is very healthy and happy for your service, not only him but all our family members appreciate what you did. Thank you.

The doctor on call as well as the nursing staff were excellent. Mom was in the hospital June 21, 2019

Went in due to horrible pain. Only to say theres nothing they can do. What a joke!

I received care from October 2017 through April 2018. In that time there were 2 RNs in the ICU that I felt were outstanding. JOE BARNETT & DIANE PETERSON WATSON. They always had time for me, and listened to my various ramblings with a smile. I would rate their bedside manner a 10 without hesitation. Thank you again.

I've always been treated very well at Avera St. Luke's! The staff is caring and take excellent care of their patients!

For the most part it's a pretty great Hospital. Some of the doctors have something to be desired but most we've had good luck with this Hospital.
