Nurse " Lisa " Tall CHUBBY short blonde hair is very very very extremely rude. She drop the covid testing tube/bag in the trash, pick them up and did not sanitize her hand and she claim she know what she was doing! VERY FUNNY LISA!
Excellent care provided by dedicated staff!! I am a retired RN and was SO impressed by every person who interacted with me. They were all polite, knowledgeable, caring, professional. This is my hospital of choice for ongoing care!
I went to urgent care and saw Kacey Myers and I cannot brag about her and her nurse enough. I ended up having to stay there late and not only was she super caring and helpful she stayed late to wait for results and information when she really didn t have to! Avera needs more providers like Kacey! The nurses on staff were all great as well. I can t express enough how happy I am with the service and care I was provided! Thank you again!!
I went to Avera Marshall yesterday to get a COVID test. They have 25+ of patients in one room waiting to get the test. The chairs were around 2-3 feet apart and facing each other. When I told the nurses, they suggested I stand in the hallway. However, shortly after other nurses yelled at the people in the hallway and said we needes to be in that room. The room was completely unsafe. I was waiting for an hour and a half for a COVID test, and they wanted me to wait in a room with others for that long. I am an educator that works so hard to keep my students safe. My students' desks need to be 6 feet apart and I sanitize between classes. This was not safe. I filed a complaint through the CDC. When teachers are making such an effort to make it safe, why cant the hospital figure it out?

I travel for work and live in Texas currently. I ve been back in the Marshall area twice in the past year and have scheduled appointments for then. The first time, my appointment was canceled two hours prior to its scheduled time because the doctor called in sick. Mind you I had just driven 1,100 miles.
Second time, canceled again. This time they gave me the courtesy of telling me a day prior at least.
I guess Brent Griffin must be making enough money to work part-time and as-wanted. Avera, you are a bunch of dinks.
Worst birthing experience ever in 2015. Wouldn t listen that my daughter was stuck and nearly got her scalped. Not one part of my birthing plan was followed. Was told to wait until the doctor got there to finish pushing. Permanent damage.
Fast forward to bringing my kids in for a check up due to sore throats and swollen tonsils. Conclusion was that it was allergies or something viral. We all got strep tests and I got a Covid test (NO COUGHS) because I didn t want to put them through it and we all have the same symptoms. After a month it started making my younger daughters teachers nervous and they wanted the notes from that visit. The only thing they wrote down was that she had a negative strep test and require her to be seen again for a note. She s has sinus issues her entire life which they have been told. I was told she could have been exposed so their INACCURATE NOTES WILL NOT BE AMMENDED. How simple is charting?! My kid will miss school before I pay them twice for the same thing and have my insurance taken advantage of. I ll drive to Mankato before I use this clinic again. Absolutely unprofessional and absurd. If your notes are wrong, your notes are wrong!
Very poor relationship with patients in the middle of a pandemic. The mental health Dr's won't see you want you and your kid to use their portal for video conference but if it doesn't work on your end or you have technical difficulties they count it against you and drop you after 3. Missed appointments which id understand if it was missed in person but when having technical issues and not knowing what were doing they could give you a break. What a joke to see a mental health Dr on a computer screen.
This supposed Christian clinic just sent a summons to my mother for court all over $500 in medical bills. My mother and step-father work long hours as well as care for my younger brother together and money gets tight. She had a payment plan set up for what she could afford yet apparently that wasn t enough for them even though Avera has cashed all their checks so far. Greed is a sin, and this clinic should be shamed for their practices.
This place is very unreliable, they are quick to cancel appointments. Horrible customer service
