Avanti Hotel Review

Amazing customer service! However, the room my sister and I were in did look dungeon like as the lights seemed VERY dim. We were in a king suite on the third floor. Only one elevator which were slow going up and down. My cousin who we travelled with could not find where he had park and it was so nice of them to take us on their trolley to go and look for it. Amazing service! I would definitely go for the people but not the room.

Not quite as big or clean or reasonable as advertised, but who is? Not bad for the price point but I could have gotten better

Small bathroom is an understatement, pull out sofa bed is horrible, bed is okay, food & drinks at hotel isn't worth the cost , pool & hot tube was the best part of resort overall hotel is slightly under avg ..

It's a good place to stay at. My only complaint is that there is one night stand in the room I was in so I didn't have a nightstand to set my phone on and charge. Over all it was with every penny.

We had a man by the name of Hamilton that went above the average staff member to make sure we got a different room after having a situation in our room. The rooms are very spacious which was awesome with four women getting dress daily. If you looking for space and friendly staff you will get it here.

The customer sevice, room service and food were fantastic. Love the room. Bathroom too small but love it otherwise. Gorgeous pool!! We definately go back.

Great large pool. Good accommodations in a central location. Easy to walk to lot of food and entertainment.

Nice place. Close to Disney and Universal. Plenty of places to eat near by. Pool is lovely.

This place is terrible. Bad buildings. I can hear people talking in there rooms clearly. Poor housekeeping. Found blood in towels. Small Insects are everywhere in the room. In addition to the high rates they got. I rather go to motel 6 but not to come here again. The only one thing good is the location literally nothing else.

This was my second visit, because the first one very well. After getting settled and up into the room it was time for my youngest son to take a nap. as soon as I pulled the comforter back there were two bugs, bugs I have never seen before. I freaked out, instantly disgusted. they scrambled so fast and disappeared into a crack I did not get a chance to get a picture. after declaring I am not sleeping in that room I pulled the pull out couch out to see if there was a problem there and sure enough the SAME EXACT bug was there too! Didn't get a picture of that one either. We called someone up to the room asap. they fully inspected the room and couldn't find anything but assigned us to a different room. THIS time I was prepared. We checked the new bed, with cameras ready! I cannot make the next part of this story up! THERE WERE BUGS IN THAT BED TOO. this time I got a video to show the staff. the picture attached is a screenshot of the video because it wouldn't let me upload the video of it crawling in and out of the beds cracks but coming out from under the comforter first. the picture is very bad but you get my point. again, very disgusted called the staff again and showed the video this time freaking out. They were very nice!! i didn't like how they tried to explain what type of bug it is as if it made it okay. We came to Orlando with 4 other families, so up and moving to a different hotel was not our first option. we got another room, and thankfully when we did or search we found nothing but i was still so scared for my children or even myself to sleep in the bed. Just a heads up.

Rooms are nice. Staff is friendly. There are a lot of amenities. They have room service as well. However the down side, since this a family friendly hotel, it can be noisy from all the kids in the pool till almost 12am! If you go to bed early this is not the place. But great atmosphere for family fun.

The lobby was welcoming and clean. The room is decent and clean. The staff so far have all been friendly and helpful.

Our room was very clean, comfy and big. The pool is also big and nice. The Hotel is good located, surrounded from good restaurants (we recommend the Brick House) and attractions.

I have to substract one star because of the Bar and Grill at the pool. The drinks and food is bad and expensive. You better go out.

All transfers to parks are available for free. Location is very good.. get anywhere in international drive with the i ride. Ideal for non drivers.

One of the hotels at I'nal Drive. Not the best hotel but for a short stay it's fine.

The rooms floors are covered in dust my feet get totally black on the bottom just from walking around the room. the hotel is under construction, the first room I stayed in had cockroaches in it and the noise from the freeway kept me up all night, the second room had loud people next to me and the air conditioning unit is coming out of the wall, not worth the price of what they charged me, I will NOT be staying again and I suggest that people look elsewhere for a hotel.

Perfect location .... dirty rooms cockroaches in 2 rooms that we have rented next to each other .. bathrooms the water did not filter down all the dirty went up to the bank .. and that is never a resort that is far from being a resort .... in addition to being from most of the parks, the lobby and the pool.
A hece hotel I do not recommend to anybody !!

Once arrived we were greeted and attended by Franklin. I absolutely amazing customer service with him! We also spoke to a lady Saturday morning at the concierge, she was very helpful and super nice. As far as the room goes it was average. One of the beds was extremely squeaky and a couple things were broken. Honestly we didn t really want to bother calling for a new room since we were only going to be in the room to rest. Absolutely will com back because the costumer service was so phenomenal!!

So for the price it's clean and pool and cafe/game room are awesome. But phone in room didn't work & we asked to have it fixed and no one ever came. Walls THIN, and clientele kinda rough. Didn't feel 100% safe due to neighbors carrying on.

If I could rate this place ZERO stars, I would. Rooms were dirty. Hair found from previous occupants on the towels, in the shower, on the bed, etc. Moldy, dusty... you would think this place would be cleaner considering COVID regulations. How can this place be called a RESORT??? More like a motel experience. Terrible customer service. And if you stay in the towers, prepare for an absolute nightmare experience waiting for elevators!!!!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE.

The hotel is in fact very well located, in a better part of International Drive. If you are not in the car, you can go to some restaurants and convenience stores on foot or Walmart asking for a Uber.

About the hotel itself ... my husband and I had an unforeseen flight and had to pack up a last minute hotel. Well, we saw the Avanti with an ok price and inviting photos. Arriving at the hotel, you will find a modern and friendly reception. The room is American standard, with comfortable beds with microwave, refrigerator and cable tv ... until then ok.

Good, however we found out that this place is nothing but a Motel in disguise. Strange, ill-mannered people circle the place and do not feel safe. The rooms are exposed to the street and we did not see any security guards around. Would not go back here.

Check in was very efficient however the desk attendant was very rude. Our room looked to be under construction. There was sheetrock dust everywhere and rust lines on the floor where previous furniture has been. We only booked one night and didn't need anything very extravagant, however for the price we paid for the room, I know we would have been better off staying at a Best Western. Will not be back and I do not recommend

The food at the bar & grill was delicious. My room was conveniently placed directly in front of the pool and cafe. The beds were very UNCOMFORTABLE!! I stayed 3 nights and every morning my back would be in pain. I would love to return to this hotel. HOWEVER after a long day at theme parks, I want to have a good nights sleep.

all nice and good eccept of the toilet...the room is brand new but the toilet is still old.amazing pool and friendly staff.well located in front of the studios parks.

Great hotel for the price. Kid friendly and great location. The staff even decorated the room with some balloons when I called in advance and let them know we were celebrating my daughter's 8th birthday. Great pool area and kids play area as well. On site Starbucks, as well as a cafe made it really convenient!

Garbage. Wish I could give it zero stars. Not only are their employees rude, it is a glorified motel 6. When we went in the room it was trashed and there were black things in the sink so we had to wait to get another room on a different floor. Then we got ice and it had little cockroaches in it. It was disgusting. I will never return.

Nice functional room. Nice pool and other facilities. Especially like the free towels you can use around the pool.

This is a mediocre but passable hotel. On the plus side, it satisfied the basics. The room was clean and it had reasonable amenities - secure safe in the room, refrigerator, hair dryer, the bed was comfortable etc. All the people I dealt with were very nice. There were no appearances of unwanted insects or other forms of life that don't belong in a hotel room. The room was relatively inexpensive. All rooms have free though slow WiFi. The place does have a very nice-looking pool and hot tub though I didn't use them. OK, that's it for the good part. Now let me list the many flaws which prevented me from giving a higher rating. 1) No closet in the room, just a flimsy armoire. 2) No pens or paper or anything in the desk. 3) Room was poorly lit and seemed dingy even with all lights turned on. One bulb burned out in the bathroom fixture. 4) Incredibly noisy dehumidifier in room which I had to turn off immediately. Too bad because the room was muggy. 5) Incredibly noisy fan in the bathroom. 6) Some traces of mildew on tiles in bathroom. Not awful but shouldn't be any at all.

Pool and Jacuzzi.

We stayrd here for our 10yr wedding anniversary for 2 days and it was one of the best places i have stayed at before it is very clean and the staff are nice i called down for towels and i was told it will be a few mins due to they had other call but they were up right away and the pool area is the best the pool is heated and there is a bar at the pool which was great the bartender was really nice whenever i stay in orlando i will be staying here the price is low also overall a great place everything is at walking distance

Great hotel, staff good, right in the middle of thing. Good sized pool, cafe that does decent food. No complaints at all, would definitely come back

I loved the hotel and its splendid employees, mainly those of the cafe and the bar without incredibly attentive, I would only recommend something to improve and it is to pay attention to the cleanliness of the rooms but if one asks at the reception for a full toilet, they do it from there all super well we were 2 weeks and no complaints of course we would return

AGAIN THIS WAS NOT THE WHOLE STAFF, HOWEVER IF MANAGEMENT IS WILLING TO LIE AND NOT MAKE STAFF OWN THEIR WRONG ... THEY GOING HAVE A PROBLEM ON THEIR HANDS....

I hate to say it but the comments about the deceiving appearance of the hotel are true.. I almost did not recognize the hotel when I got there. I was a bit disappointed with the amenities, considering how much I paid. I also waited too long in line to get checked in. They re were several people who booked with a 3rd party company (Expedia, Yelp, hotels.com ect..) that were told to go home after waiting in line for about an hour. Luckily, I called the hotel directly so I didn t have that problem. Overall , I would not recommend. The staff was nice tho .

This hotel is on I-drive, kind of tucked away in a row of several hotels, really close to the Orlando Eye. It's a good location for Universal, Sea World and the convention center. Probably a bit far from Disney. They do have some shuttle service but we had our own car so didn't use any. The parking is free. The lobby is bright and comfortable with several areas to sit and chill for a few or grab a cup of coffee from the lobby Starbucks. Checking in was easy and pleasant. The staff is so friendly and helpful. There are 5 buildings here and the map is needed. She was able to accomadate our request for a first floor room and we were able to check in a few minutes before 4. Awesome for a Saturday!!
There is a huge pool on the property that's perfect for families or couples.
We were in a room with a king size bed. It was almost a suite with a sitting area separate from the bed. We had a couch and table. All following the retro decor we found in the lobby. Hard wood floors. The bed was awesome, the a/c quiet and kept the room cool without the musty smell you often find in Florida hotels. Free WiFi and works Amazing! I was able to stream Netflix with no problem.
I can't wait to stay again.

Nice rooms but cleaning service is a little off sometimes

We have been staying for 3 days and until then all services are excellent. The hotel staff were always helpful and the room services were also very well done. We will stay another 11 days.

The location is great!
The cleanliness of the rooms leaves a bit to be desired, but nothing that impacts the trip.

The room was clean, but a little worn. I was on the parking lot side in building 1 and there was a lot of road noise. The pool area was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect.

Clean room, friendly staff. The pool is wonderful they even have a game room so if you have kids you can keep them entertained. Food is great. Next time I visit Orlando I'll definitely stay here the price is amazing for what you get.

Disappointed. Drove there for a convention and had a group with me. We booked two rooms and upon check in, the second room was not ready. We waited about four hours. They said they would call us when ready. We were tired and hungry. Since we were waiting for the second room, we didn't leave to get food. We ended up ordering from the cafe, which was ridiculously high. After, being frustrated from waiting, I ended up calling again to inquire about the room. Only to find out it had been ready! Why didn't they call?
The charges are also confusing, I do not understand why the charges were broken up into four different transactions. Customer Service was poor to say the least.
If your there for business or want a good night's rest. This so called resort is not it. The noise from the pool and a/c was loud.
Keep a close track of your charges, as you will get a run around as to what they are. You will literally have to call to inquire. I did not receive an email of my receipt, I had to call and demand one. Even my receipt did not add up to the charges. I would not stay here again.

Much delay arrived from 9 in the morning and it was almost 5 in the afternoon and I still had not been given a room !!! Very bad attention

We had an amazing experienced from the beginning to the end. We spend the 4th of July here until July 7th. Our room was nice and big. Housekeeping ladies are very nice. Our room was facing the pool in building 3. Avanti restaurant and grill had good food selection and their prices were very good. Ruben ,mike and Jose made us laugh every time we came in the restaurant. My husband loved the pizza and wings! Bartenders are very nice as well... The pool is huge and We loved it! Will definitely be back again.

Wonderful staff, great location, rooms were big. Just breakfast was over priced, they need to make their cafe prices reasonable. I woke up late so they let us checkout 1 hour late which was very nice of them.Overall we had great time their and we highly recommend this place to stay whenever u go to orlando.

It's okay. But I feel like they're cashing in on visitors and them being the cheaper option than staying at most other places. They have no comforter on the bed, it's just a fleece blanket sandwiched between two sheets. They didn't have a plastic bag in the filthy ice bucket, tap water is warm, and the fridge doesn't seem to really work. But the biggest disappointment has to be the lack of breakfast. I've stayed at hotels that are half the price than this place (real dumps) that still had breakfast. The good? Everything seems pretty new in the room (besides the fridge) and the sheets, pillow, and bed are fairly comfortable.

Please do not stay here. The online pictures are absolutely misleading. Once arriving you are going to have to wait in a line that will end up taking 45mis to an hour once that s done they tell you your room isn t ready after being told you can check in... unacceptable!

This place is extremely gross and not maintained at all. The beds are really poor and very uncomfortable. Better off getting a sleeping bag. I actually recommend it. The walls have mold and so does the 6x3 bathroom.

Don t even think about trying to fall asleep here cause the walls might as well be made out of paper cause you can pretty much hear everyone and everything going on.

Oh! One last thing - just go somewhere else please this hotel should really be condemned. I m pretty sure a motel 6/8 is better than this. I do not recommend this hotel at all. But if you do end up staying here just get ready for an I told you so good luck!

An interesting thing with the staff this is a hotel that wants to tell you don't take that taxi. It seems like everybody has issues about taking a taxi when you need to go somewhere you're here on business you need to get there.

Smell of mildew in my room that had hot tub I was afraid to get in, yellow stains on jets didn't look appealing. Gap in front door and no heat for cold weather days. Great location, ok hotel. Front lobby smelled nice, was pretty, pool area looked cool. Weight room was a joke, husband and I are gym rats, 4 machines and two treadmills is not the work out room they advertise.

Took one look at the room and cancelled my reservation. It looks nothing like the photos. It's a motel not a resort.

The pools seem to be great but did not enjoy it much as it was freezing cold.

Rooms are good.. ambience at reservations is good and the same should be carried at entire avanti..lift is horrible and walkway, floor has to be upgraded.

We stayed at this resort because it was close to the Orlando airport and we had a flight to catch. The staff was friendly and the rooms were decent. It seemed that the rooms were recently updated, however they forgot to update the bathrooms. The room had a fridge and microwave which was nice and the tv had plenty of channels. For the price, we would stay here again.

Great staff, super friendly and helpful. Great location, surrounded by so many different restaurants. The only negatives I would state are they don't have a lot of outlets, one of our drawers was broken, we had some stains on our clean towels which was slightly off putting, and the bath room didn't seem like it was cleaned well before we arrived. Minor inconveniences in my opinion. I would most likely stay here again. The housekeeping through our stay was good, and their restaurant poolside area is very convenient.

Best Location to get around orlando, rooms are decent, beds arent that comfortable but they have a great bar and cafe

The room chairs are plastic green, and the couch is purple. The ice machine takes a debit card. If you stand in the middle of the bathroom, you can touch all four walls. The pool area is not well maintained from previous guests. The linens are thin and worn out.

The toilet was broken. The tv remote didnt work. When I got to the room the door was stuck. I had to go to the front desk to ask for help. Then I had to sit outside the door with my belongings until maintenance could come and fix the door. The room is extremely noisy. The walls must be paper thin. One good point is the location. If you want a cheap hotel on international this isnt a bad bet but it is just that : cheap.

i love the place. very clean extremely nice at check in. sarah was very nice! jeffre was great at breakfast very fast nice service. pool area great. i was visiting from cape cod mass, and i consider this my new home away from home.

The rooms are ancient and falling apart. The tub is peeling, which I didn't know was possible, as are the walls, ceiling, and anything else that can peel. The outlets only partially work and one crackles when I plugged into it. WiFi is unsecured and works about 50% of the time. It's by far the worst room I've stayed in in over 20 years. To top things off there were clumps of shaved pubic hair on tye towels under the vanity. The food is overpriced and mediocre to top it off. It resembles a large motel much more than a resort. I have no idea how they have the star ratings they do, the place is a dump. The only reason I give it 2 stars is the staff are nice and it does have some amenities as overpriced and pathetic as they are.

6th time staying there.. love that hotel fits my budget!
