Great place to work! Some of the smartest and most dedicated people I've ever worked with. The passion for serving our patients and residents is evident at every level of the organization.

Working at Chestnut Lane has been a wonderful experience. I have learned ASL( still learning everyday) and have made lifelong friendships with coworkers. I have fulfilling relationships with residents that make coming to work everyday like coming to my second home.
I have worked here for six months. Additionally, my mother had rehab here about a year ago. Nothing but positive things to say about this company!
When visiting my mother at the Avamere in Sandy a couple months ago, after being there for not more than five minutes I was told that i had to leave. They said that I was a 'trouble maker' and that I am banned from the facility.
I don't believe that they have any justifiable reason for 86ing me either.
So my question for you is, what do I have to do to get my visitation rights restored?
I'm willing to go as far as getting a court ordered injunction that forces them to allow me to visit, if necessary. But I'm hoping that it doesn't have to come to that. Is there anyone at your corporate offices who can help me with this misunderstanding?
I am saddened by the lack of care, understaffing of facilities, and disregard for safety and well-being of the residents. My veteran grandpa was receiving a maximum of two baths per month and endured verbal abuse from one of the employees at Avamere. Do not send your loved one here.
I don't even want to give these people 1 star. DO NOT LET YOUR LOVED ONES STAY HERE. I don't even know where to begin. My grandmother was admitted there at the Medford OR location after a fall she had. The first couple of days the air conditioner was not working on her side. They were cooling people off with fans. That was red flag warning number one. Red flag number 2 is we found out they were over medicating her. When I would try and call for any information i would be hung up on. numerous times. Getting information from them was like pulling teeth. Only to fin out it was all lies anyways. Her roommate was sick with pneumonia which they failed to quarantine her off from others. Which led to my grandmother getting sick with pneumonia. My grandmother says she was sick puking and puking up blood. Nurse lies and said she was not. Friend visits her and she is covered in old puke clothing and they did NOT change her!!!! Come to find out now that she did not eat for 4 days with NO IV. in the meantime they did not tell a single family member any of this. They said they took an xray yesterday and she had minor pneumonia. We finally get her into a REAL hospital after arguments with them. Providence hospital took an xray and said she has SEVERE pneumonia and was very dehydrated. This place was going to let my grandmother die. I have never known a company to have so little regard to their patients and their families.
If you love your loved ones, DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT HAVE THEM STAY HERE.
Changing owners does not change care. Horrible horrible horrible!!
The staff are helpful and the building is beautiful! When there is a problem, staff are quick to respond.
