Too bad the trains help little to get to the city for me coming from E. Romagna. Savona and its port a gem.

The port is very nice, it can be reached from the station by bus 7, it's nice there are bars and some little shops. If you have to go on a cruise you can easily walk.

The harbor panorama is not beautiful I preferred that of Genoa by far

Small Town, visited in a few hours, were delightful castle.

Good boarding structure for the Fabulous, but absolutely improved, the embarkation area of the Fascinosa. The bus enters a mercantile area absolutely not up to a serious company and bystanders. The port or municipal administration of Savona could do more, given the undoubted volume of business that the Cruises bring.

We visited Savona, had a great time, there is information in the port right at the exit, the tourist center gives a free map of the city, we bought tickets for 7 euros for an excursion train, without getting tired, we looked around the city, in general, a typical seaside, very beautiful church, Sistine Chapel (yes , 2 euro), an old Genoese fortress ... take a bus from the port to the beach

I am from Asti but if this were not the case I would like to be from Savona

From the port on foot through the mobile bridge you can easily reach the historic center in a few minutes.

It is a small population, but full of life and history. It is worth exploring this small port on foot.

Nice place to visit! The pretty port, even more beautiful when there is a cruise ship in the port. You can taste fried fish sold directly from one of the boats moored in the harbor. Good idea!
