Honestly screw this hospital. I was there as a teenager and did not get any help being there besides pills. I ended up attempting suicide a year later anyways.
Now my spouse is here and she was sent to the ER yesterday and nobody will tell me what happened. Nobody will get me into contact with her. She just transferred units and nobody told us. Got an emergency contact call saying she had an incident and that they cant tell me what. What the hell?

Trying to contact to a patient is havoc. I get disconnected or hung up on every time I call. . . that is IF anyone answers the phone to begin with. Do not bother leaving messages because those are never delivered either.

I have been able to participate in a number of virtual CEU opportunities this year. I have enjoyed all of them. The platform is user friendly. The staff is very professional and kind. I look forward to attending more virtual CEU's.

The staff was so kind to me. There s plenty of group therapies that also included gym time, swimming, animal therapy with dogs & horses and arts & crafts. Food is good considering it s a hospital.

I would give this facility a 0 if it was possible. They are completely useless and frustrating beyond belief! The front staff has absolutely no idea what is ever going on. They are completely oblivious of their own rules and regulations. The staff inside are sub par at best. The only reason I took my daughter there is because it was recommended by name from her therapist. Never again! If you have a choice (and you do) please make an educated decision and steer away from here

I needed immediate help. They said come at 7pm we can get you right in.

Got there at 7, they told me to sleep on the floor for 5 to 10 hours to see a doctor. They rather would help dope fiends get their fix, than help someone who needs help. They called all these dope fiends in one by one who joked about getting a free stay and sandwich, while I was desperate for help. Nope.

Stay far away from this Dope Fiend Resort. it's all biased towards helping heroin addicts before responsible people.who just need help.

All those females working 7/20/2021 extremely unprofessional and the nurses don't even know what Kratom is. That's sad.

Go elsewhere. You will thank yourself

I was recently an inpatient at Aurora. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is in need of getting themselves back on track. I want to thank my doctor on canyon hall for all the help and patience you had in getting me back to a healthy life. I thank all the nurses and bht for making my time there the best experience. Thanks Aurora

The staff was really kind and helpful in getting me the recovery I needed, they were so real! $$$ hope the government funds yall more because your godsends, just need a weight room but I understand why y all don t, thank you Belinda the night tech, David the lead tech, Lora and Martha and Mario Greg and Dave the lunch lady and guys, Brittney, Ashmita for the coloring and espcially Kyrie for being so hard working and kind to me, that bro deserves a raise cause he works hard as hell in getting us that good energy, also Mimi the Janitor for always doing her job and even doing above and beyond before her lunch break, y all made my experience at Unit 600 a Godsend not hell like the other state hospital Valley Wise, I forgot some names but thank you so much staff

I ve been here twice and am about to go a third time. I have bipolar and I choose to go here when I need my meds adjusted. The units are simple but necessities are provided on a consistent basis. Some staff have bad attitude but some patients are HORRIBLE so I commend them. When I was there I did music therapy and horse therapy, you get fed 3x a day and the groups are spread out through each day. I learned that the detox/rehab part leads to the mental health part but it s a choice to accept treatment and to go to each 45 minute group and be social. If you do want a change this is a good place. I won t go anywhere else.
