UPDATE: I checked in on 6/22 for surgery. I had never had to stay overnight in a hospital, but had had family overnight in a few places. AU Health is AWESOME!!! From beginning to end ALL, but one, were so pleasant, kind, efficient, knowledgeable and "on the ball!" The one just had a bit of a "why are you bothering me?" tone of voice, BUT she immediately got the help I needed. I was very grateful that when I pushed the call button, someone answered within seconds and there was someone that came to help me, usually within 30 seconds. It was like I was the only patient on the floor... now that's service!!! The volunteers are also very well trained, knowledgeable and friendly!

I read some complaints about long wait times. In those cases, not knowing all the facts, it sounds as if many are from waiting in ED. My first visit here on March 3rd, had a bit of a wait time, but I was not critical. If I had been, I certainly would have wanted them to take me before taking someone that was not critical... so would you.

FROM A FOLLOW-UP VISIT:
Always great care from a friendly staff! I drive 45 minutes just to go there instead of the local hospital that's only 15 minutes from me. Worth the time, every time.

Very nice experience at the Emergency room....early on a Friday morning...delivering a Covid positive person. Nice care and compassion. Thanks for being there.

Lots of road work going on in this area but I really like the AU Breast Health Center for mammograms so it's worth the road challenge. The women in the center are kind and helpful. Please get a mammogram if you haven't had one in a while! So important for women's health.

It is amazing how fast you are in and out. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Very impressed.

I was at Pain Management to get some relief for my neck. I received an epidural steroid injection. I think that I'm going to do better in a few days. Dr. Anterpeet Dua does wonders!

Very nice and clean. Staff is helpful and friendly.

The only complaint I have about this visit was my typical, long wait time. I was there early and checked in, but there were four people scheduled for a department that can only handle two at a time max. The nurses were friendly and helpful and got me out as quickly as possible without seeming to rush, though.

One of the greatest hospitals and staff ever!! I got lost today and 2 assistants on the first floor Jessie and Deborah went over and beyond their way to help me. Not everyday you see that. And Dr. Noelle is one of the most compassionate doctors I've ever met. Amazing hospital!!

My wife had an MRI on the first floor of the main hospital. Theresa, Darrell and the technicians are absolutely the best!!!!
