I have always received respectful service.There wasn t a time when I felt Unwelcomed or Devalued.My worker is awesome (SG) Thank you for your service.

This post is from a Landlord : This program is very deceitful and does not pay landlords. They literally rob Peter to pay Paul. Once in the program. It takes days to reach someone. They only work 3-4 days a week. You only get voice mails and it takes days up to weeks for someone to get back to you. They will arbitrarily take from one HAP to pay for what they perceive as a shortage. They abate properties without notifying. Sometimes this cost months of rent before a landlord will notice. Then you have to Evict the Tenant. The Tenants are not held responsible for unpaid HAPs. They say we paid but the deposit is $000.00. I will do my best not to participate in this program. Other Housing Authorities are not run like this. All Landlords please be weary of AHA. They do not pay accounts. This is a perfect example of Govt waste. Its truly not the Tenants its the AHA that gives this program a bad name.

I am very upset with ALL departments of housing. I moved into Dogwood Terrace from NC about two months ago and there has been a shooting both months within feet of my home ( where my children also reside ) . I do understand that it is income based but there is no reason why I should have to deal with shootings EVERY month with feet from my apartment complex .

On top of this , just the other day a police offers walks into my home at about 12am , without my permission , and asks why me and my company were in MY HOME ! He claimed that someone told him my home was vacant and he was investigating a shooting that happened days prior . I was harassed and askes showed my lease to MY apartment and the cop still didn't believe me . So I had to show my license just for the cop to write my name down and say they were still going to talk to management .

Lastly ive been dealing with a roach infested fridge since the day I moved in and mind you its been about two months and I still have the same fridge ! I've complained SEVERAL times and they are doing the bare minimum to solve the issue . I've even spoken to managers about the situation and the problem is not fixed !

No one in Augusta housing authority EVER ever returns my phone calls so I plan on reaching out to an even higher authority . LIKE SOMEONE ELSE MENTIONED , STACK YOUR MONEY AND GET OUT OF HERE !

Iv lived n Powell Point since the beginning of the newly built subdivision now 4yrs ago. Maintaince is slow, electrical issues are poor!!! One incident I waited rite at a year b4 getting an issue done. As of now, iv been waiting on the electrician almost 3 mnths. Supervisor doesn't even return messages. Filters don't even get changed but once a year. I pay my rent on time, keep my apt up and give no problems. I am very disappointed with the housing authority. But at the same time they continue 2 assist crack heads 2 move n the neighborhood and complaints are also ignored. Sum people are n situations that need assisted housing. But it doesn't mean people hav 2 b treated any kind of way. Im tired!!!
