A great gift shop and native plant nursery with a variety of mostly shade and sunny meadow plants, along with some water garden plants. The gift shop features everything from bird feeders and bird houses to plush singing bird toys, beautiful coloring books, educational resources, nature guide books, artisan gift cards, jewelry and more. A great place to purchase bird seed, gifts for children and nature lovers.

Excellent wild park to hike. There have been many improvements in last few years. Trails are now better maintained.

They appear to be wasting money on signs and rehabbing the barn at Succop. Looks like interest is money not conservation. Don't give them a dime anymore. May plant gathering is gone it supposedly mucked up the grass....they didn't want to mess that up for their weddings which completely unrelated to conservation.joke

Nice trails to walk,, and outside bathrooms open all the time. It has a native plant center that is good. They sell native plants in season.

This is a great organization committed to native habitat cultivation. They take very good care of the Beechwood nature preserve and the garden center (Betsy:s Garden Shoppe) and gift shop are both excellent. There are signs with plenty of information around the nature preserve, and a wide variety of native plants are cultivated and sold here. A beautiful place to visit or volunteer, and a dedicated organization doing incredible things locally!

We enjoyed a beautiful day by walking through the grounds and over the longer trail. The guest facilities (including a gift shop and restrooms) enhance significantly the natural beauty of the place. It's great to take kids to see the different forms of life in and around the pond.

My wife and I love this place! Wonderful walking trails and a great maple syrup tour and pancake breakfast.
