Attracta Farrell Property Letting Agency Review

Our experience has been completely drastic. We rented a property in Rochestown Ballymitty, completely isolated from everything, very dark at night with no street lamps and no light around the house, without internet coverage and without bus stops. Whenever we needed a plumber or an electrician, she would give me phone numbers to contact but no one would ever answer. If they answered me, they said they came then they forgot. I have never been able to contact the landlord because he lives in the united states. She is never able to solve problems. She told us that we could keep the dog, then in the contract phase he changed her opinion, forbidding us to keep a dog. The heating has never worked for two years. The nearest supermarket was 6 km away. The neighbor never helped us, on the weekends he gathered the family and the children made a lot of noise. The house has no fence and no gate, which is why the goats of the nearby "Springwood" property have taken over the garden for over two months, destroying and dirtying everything, even the main entrance. The house was infested with mice that came from the forest next to the house. If the alarm sounded, the neighbor came with his ladder to reach the control unit and disconnect the cables. We have suffered many kerosene thefts. My wife suffered a shock because of all these problems.
I wish myself and everyone who reads never to meet someone like Attracta again in their life.

After 4 years of dealings with attracta i have decided that 1 star is to be given because currently 7 months into a tenancy 4 of which with no hot water 10 to 15 emails about repairs and very little done even now i have water all over the immersion wiring water coming through the lights and yet after an emergency complaint i sent over yhe weekend the response was "i am on annual leave". After a blockage in the first three weeks of being in property she told the contrctors that it was wipes and nappies down the drain even though we had just moved in with multiple pluming issues and 3 years previously have had no wipes or nappie issues what so ever. Minimum standards check by council carried out nothing followed up still. I completely understand that this may not be th agency's issues and maybe the landlord but the lack of comunication is dreadfull.

I contacted Attracta Farrell about a property, I went to view the property that evening. Attracta and her team processed everything quickly and efficiently and the lease was signed within a week! Great service and absolutely no issues!

Viewed a cottage with this company and I was told to scan and email all my documents to the office only to be told that me and my pregnant wife were not suitable for that property, Attracta advised us that she had a suitable property at the same price as the cottage only to be shown a tiny house in Bridgetown which we kindly refused. I offered to pay a year up front but she decided we were not suitable for the cottage. Which I found insulting. You would be better of saying that the property is gone to another tenant then say someone is not suitable.

Both myself and family members have renting from attracta for the best part of 10 years. She provides a very professional and friendly service and always makes sure that the best interests of the client and the tenant are at heart. She has always gone above and beyond for me and I am forever grateful to her and her staff. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

As I am out of town I thought a local management agency would be the best way to let my Wexford home. This has worked out very well. I considered a number of agents before deciding on Attracta Farrell because of their very professional, no-nonsense approach, from finding excellent tenants to dealing promptly with any issues that arose during the tenancy. I was told to contact the office after a viewing to register my interest.

When I called I was told Attracta had already decided I wasn't suitable even though I have a work contract and enough savings to cover the lease.

Absolutely shocking, if you're looking for a place in Wexford I would suggest only dealing with private listings as most agencies aren't much better.

Both my husband and I were really disappointed.
At first Attracta Farrell seemed kind and helpful to us, then over time, she demonstrated both professional inability to solve problems and a lack of humanity on a personal level, turning our life into a never-ending drama.
He rented us a house on the outskirts of Wexford, telling us so many lies and very few truths. After signing the contract, we found that the heating didn't work, the mattresses were soaked and filthy, the appliances didn't work, there were mice everywhere, the electricity bills were very expensive, all problems that could have been solved with dedication and will by part of him and the landlord, but nothing to do. In the face of all these problems, which he never solved, we were forced to leave the house and he never returned the deposit amount.
Very bad experience, I strongly advise against anyone to contact this agency.

Outstanding professionalism. Very quick turnaround on answering your queries or addressing issues. Would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely use Attracta in the future.

We recently began renting a house through Attracta and have found any communications to be prompt and thorough.
They are very understanding and willing to accommodate and work with you if any problems arise.
We had a leak from our shower which ran down the wall and onto the floor downstairs and we emailed Attracta, within 30 minutes a plumber rang to say he'd come look at it and he was here 30 minutes after that. The issue was fixed an hour after noticing it and that was on a Saturday morning!
Would highly recommend renting through Attracta's agency.
