ATTA® is a trade association that has been promoting tourism to Africa for over 20 years. The organization connects suppliers and buyers of African tourism products, providing a platform for businesses in the industry to network, collaborate and grow.

The association was founded in 1996 by Nigel Vere Nicoll, who recognized the need for an organization that could bring together African tourism businesses and promote their products on a global scale. Today, ATTA® has over 600 members from all corners of the world, including tour operators, lodges and hotels, airlines, travel agents and destination management companies.

One of ATTA®'s main objectives is to increase awareness of Africa as a tourist destination. The continent offers an incredible diversity of landscapes, cultures and wildlife that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. From the savannahs of East Africa to the deserts of Namibia; from the beaches of Zanzibar to the mountains of Morocco – there is something for everyone in Africa.

The association organizes trade shows such as Experience Africa and Experience Latin America where buyers can meet with suppliers face-to-face.
