I had one of those experiences that truly redeems your faith in humanity. I m writing this review in 2020, the year of the Pandemic. I, like many people this year, am very hard up financially. I gratefully booked a job in Kansas City at a convention in the Hilton hotel. On my way back to the airport, the Manager (John Parker) overheard me requesting the shuttle service. Unfortunately, they aren t running it due to Covid. Because my checking account is extremely low (too low for a Lyft or Uber, I m embarrassed to admit) I needed to request a taxi service that would take cash. Shortly after I left the building to contact this cash option taxi, John came out and offered to personally drive me to the airport. With no judgement or self-righteous altruism, he conversed respectfully and with all the class of a man who has spent years working in the Hospitality business. He dropped me off at the airport and drove away with a good samaritans karma. And I started my Monday in awe of mankind s capabilities. It was a simple interaction that, in the midst of the struggle of this year, felt nearly miraculous.

This is the corporate office location of Atrium Hospitality. Terrific location in the north side suburbs of Atlanta and beautiful corporate office filled with talented and professional people. Their hotels are nationwide and represent multiple brands including Hilton and Marriott.

By far the worst company I have ever worked for. They steal money from their employees by signing them up for services like health insurance without informing them, then turn around and blame the employee because they should have known the information that is not provided. They tell you that you need to fill out paperwork if you want actions taken and then do what they feel like anyway. Complaints against other employees are responded to based on how much HR likes the people involved. If the company likes the person (such as with my own harassment complaints against supervisors) absolutely nothing happens to the offender and disciplinary action is threatened against the person speaking up. People they don't like are suspended indefinitely (until they quit) without any sort of investigation. Messages/Emails have been left unanswered. I've received "it's not our problem" in response to inquiries so often that I just assume it is going to be their response to everything, even when they're the only ones at fault (and it often is their response). Do yourself a favor and just go work at a fast food place. At least there they don't pretend like you or your opinion matters, and the pay is comparable (sometimes higher).

Great environment at the hotel level. Focus on associates well being and growth is front of mind. They are also embracing capital improvements throughout many of their hotels. Great culture and company.
