Had a horrible experience at Harrahs Resort. My car was taken the casino wouldn't let me back in my room cause it wasn't in my name. So I was stuck 2 hours away from home. Nobody to call and no money. The officers refused to leave me stuck. They drove me all the way home. I've never been in the back of a cop car. But it was an awesome ride. Thank you. AC police officers for caring! !!
Called the police department because someone in Atlantic city called my cell phone threatening harm against my family (who live in Atlantic City) and saying they have my address and were going to kill me and my family. The detective I talked to didnt care and had the audacity to hang up on me. No wonder people dont trust the police. Now I have to worry for my family while working 4000 miles across the country. Good job ACPD. Hopefully the detective woman I talked to never has to deal with this situation herself. And people wonder why Atlantic City is so corrupt.

Horrible police department. And you wonder why the city should call for budget cuts to police officers and call operators. Investigators don t put the effort to reach out to individuals that have concerns. The operators who work at the call center should focus on helping more with less attitude. Y all ever heard of furlough? I think that s in the future for a majority of the police department if you keep up with such poor service. Why even bother being in public service when you don t know how to serve in the best interest of the public.
Spoke with police officers a few times on the boardwalk. Each interaction was great. Mostly it was small chit chat and one incident I was looking for my daughter's lost Kindle. The officers I spoke with gave me good advice for trying to find it, if someone was kind enough to actually turn it in. They were extremely nice and wished us the best of luck. So far it hasn't been found. I called the PD today just to check HQ and the two people I spoke with were great. Unfortunately, I'm thinking my daughter's tablet is gone for good but the ease and professionalism from the AC police has been wonderful to deal with verses a headache. It made it a little easier to deal with the unfortunate loss and most likely now theft. Thank you ACPD! My daughter might be dealing with the "bad" of someone taking something that isn't theirs and not turning it in, but she also dealt with the "good" of understanding and kind police officers. She has aspergers and can't understand why someone is taking something that isn't theirs. :/
I am so pleased with the officers who responded to my sons' animal attack. Not only were they super fast, but the officer even brought us to the hospital! To make it even better, my son, who dresses up as a police officer daily, got to ride in the car with the lights and sirens on! The officer was even making jokes about the "suspect" (the feral car). While at the hospital, the other officer came to check on us. They made a bad situation an amazing one for my son. Thank you ACPD, you're awesome!
Spent a few day's here at the Boardwalk. I saw a high police presence, however they were not harrising people. They drove around and let everyone enjoy the Boardwalk. None of them smiled or said hello but Hey high police presence without harassment is great! Thanks ACPD for keeping me and my family safe.
I wish i could give this place a -10 star rating. So i went to get my police report on a car accident i was involved in. A the police officer who was at the door was a sweetheart for asking me if i needed help and showing me where i needed to go to get my police report. HOWEVER when i went to get the the police report , the colored man who was incharge sat there looking at his computer and DIDNT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE me. So i sat there for like 5 minutes and im like can he not see me am I invisible? So me being irritated i pushed the button and he looked at me and puffed and had to nerve to say i was stupid ringing the button knowing damn well he was there. He got the nerve to be out here calling people stupid when he couldnt take the moment to ATLEAST say please give me a second and i ll be wit you . AND when my boyfriend who attempted to get my police report an asian dude who was there gave him a whole attitude for no reason like y all be so pressed for no reason. So if ANYONE has to for some reason to go the Atlantic City Police Department then expect an unnecessary attitude , you might have to cuss these pressed people out
Atlantic city police is so slow when ever you need help from them they never show up on time and until they come the criminals run away and they said they can't do anything because the guy runs away in his car I don't understand why they are so lazy. I don't think so they will do any thing until someone got killed
This place to be a police station the workers unprofessional...rude,unorganized.no staff at the reception desk...U waiting long periods of time to be tended to.The place seem unsanitary......no seats for people to really sit in the fingerprint area.I never seen a police station ran so unorganized..and not tending to citizens promptly.And one person working to attend to people for fingerprints.Where is Atlantic City tax dollars going.Cause the police department is messed up..the poor dont get tended to properly for emergency situations..,food,shelter,housing,code enforcement dosent respond to housing situations of landlords breaking codes..and having people live in inhabital situations and being taking advantage of by landlords.This place is really bad...Im gonna make complaint to Governors Office.
