I was visiting the area and had to be seen because I fell and hurt my hip. Everyone was very kind. The dr had a wonderful bedside manner; she made it very easy to relax. The lobby was very clean and the staff ensured that masks were worn. My visit was on 6/13 around noon. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the x-rays took a awhile.

The worse experience ever I had to go to L&D on Monday August 30 I was taken by The ambulance and my nurse didn t come in my room till hours later other people was sent in my room and the first thing they would say was I m not your nurse but I was told to hook you up to the Machine or to do this then the Dr ordered me Medication for my pain and I didn t receive it till I was about to leave it was the worse experience ever. The only people that was so loving and caring was the Ultrasound lady, the Dr and the PAS person they all assisted me with care and Concern they Deserve a WOW then after being discharged again my nurse didn t come in someone else was sent and I asked a question and she stated she didn t know because she wasn t my nurse so at that point I was ready to LEAVE and never go back. My husband looked at me and said never bring me to this Hospital. I called my OB doctor the next day with Piedmont and the first thing he stated was why didn t they keep you and observe you after Being that you have been hit in the stomach and Im still in pain as of now. So I feel that was a wasted trip and bill because I still had to be seen at another Hospital and had to be observed.

The hospital is very gloomy. It needs a make over with bright artwork in the hall way. The walls are bare. Artificial plants should be in the hospital as well to give it a more positive look. The lady that took time out to show us where to check in was charming. However, I was not impressed with the bedside manners of one particular nurse. She stuck my son in the stomach without preparing him for the needle. He screamed out when she stuck him. She also administered him several pain pills in a row without giving him time to swallow the first pill. The result was him throwing up all but one of the pills. Finally, he had not been given a sponge bath in 2 days. The assistant nurse manager, I think his name was Joshua. He was great. He noted our concerns and assured us that he would talk with the staff. He was great!

Say what you will about AMC, but I delivered there 3 weeks ago and can t rave enough about how AMAZING we were treated in L&D and in Mom and Baby. Everyone was super helpful and super attentive. Even the people who brought food and cleaned the room up were so hospitable I couldn t believe it. Don t let the old name fool you, when Wellstar took over, it seems like a lot has changed. I can t thank them enough for the treatment of this new mom.

The staff is kind and were trying to make me laugh in a hard situation. It definitely took longer than expected to get attention, I waited for transportation in a wheel chair for almost 20 minutes on the second floor (was told to wait and not move myself) They also made a mistake with a test I was supposed to take which led me to being there a whole other hour, which was inconvenient to say the least. The place is pretty run down and dirty, I was definitely shocked to see this door handle and a few other spots that needed some attention in the emergency room. Something was going on with police officers but they were really just standing around laughing for 20 minutes which was odd. I most likely won t be returning, I d rather not contract anything.

This might be the worst hospital in Atlanta. My wife went in for an emergency appendectomy because this was the closest hospital. They told us that they were low cost hospital-it is an old facility and not nearly as nice as Piedmont- so the bill would be minimal and we have full insurance through our employers. A year and a half later we still get random bills for thousands of dollars with no explanation. We have paid all of the bills we knew of, but new ones keep coming. Furthermore they will not provide a statement of services or an explanation of benefits to let us know whether charges are valid and what we have paid. This hospital does not care about patients, they only care about money. it is sad to say that if you are experiencing an emergency you are better off going to a hospital that may be further away because after treatment here you will experience another billing nightmare.

The worst experience ever, I came in to L&D for pain been here for over five hours to do an ultrasound. Not one nurse has come in to say if you want water a cookie or nothing, the blood pressure cuff has been off for over 20 min. There is no sense of urgency, I work in the medical field and you should communicate with your patients and families if there is going to be a delay in anything. I have zero recommendation for this place. And to think I have to deliver here in a few weeks
I know everyone is short staffed but as a medical professional your patients comfort and ability to know you have there best interests is key.

Let me save you some time and a charge ok. You are better off going elsewhere.

Something about this place is not right. The nurse checking people in and the security sitting next to him. Lack empathy and lack in customer service people skills.

All I wanted was help from them. The security guard cut me off mid sentence and said we don t service individuals who aren t patients and asking for her manager wasn t going to make her move any faster.

They need a better Hospital executive who is capable of hiring individuals who actually care for people.

I promise you this is the place you want to be if you are ever curious of what HELL feels like.
