Atkinson Resort & Country Club Review

Great breakfast food for a decent price. Also, they have full bar service during breakfast. They can make a good/strong bloody mary but one of the bartenders didn't make it as well as the others (can't remember which one it was).

Went to the country club for a road race and it was great. They had a lot of the event inside and everything was great!

We attended an event that was beautiful and the staff that I interacted with we're very friendly.

What's not to like. Party of 8 got seated right away. Good food and service. Great view!! One of our go to places.

Golf course is great but make sure you bring your own beers if golfing. They won t serve beers at the club house to bring on the course and on top of it we saw the cart girl once the entire round. Complete BS, never seen a course managed like that.

Everytime I go to Atkinson Country Club it's a wonderful expirience. The food is always amazing along with the friendly service.

I was here for a running race. The facilities were fantastic with plenty of parking close to the club. The grounds were gorgeous from what I saw of them.

Had a family reunion there. Food was great. Server was hilarious. Atmosphere was amazing.

Overall very good. Price was as usual, similar to the fancy golf resorts. I had rented golf clubs and they had taken my drivers' license and put it on hold until I return the golf clubs. When I returned back, the shop where I rented was closed and there was no one around. I looked for the front desk, where the lady helped me to open the shop, however she was baffled when I asked for my drivers' license. She said, we don't take those when renting. Unfortunately there was some mix-up and finally I was able to get my license back. Would I go back? No. Not worth the hassle. I would prefer little smaller and inexpensive resort.

Can't say enough about this place! Great place to get married. Grounds always updated. Jennifer Chipman is the best. I'm a photographer and owner of A Photographic Memory and our team loves capturing memories there,when you never want to forget...

Although I enjoy the Atkinson Country Club, I would not recommend purchasing any gift certificates for later use. They were recently unable to honor a 100.00 gift card purchased from their restaurant. The manager said there was nothing on the card and she could not track it??? Really...Buyer beware!!

Golf course is in perfect shape for Fall play. But, some holes stay very wet after a rain storm, which hampers play. Tee times at 5 min intervals. Too quick!

My grandmother's mercy meal was hosted here and they did a great job organizing and keeping the event running smoothly.

Beautiful country club , was there for a wedding, and was very impressed

The food is wonderful. The service was great. I have been going there for years and have the same problem.when you go to get you slice of meat prime,ham,or pork and you ask them to cut it one half inch. They look at you and cut it like delay meat . it's so thin you can almost see through it. I have talked to the manager and she says they should cut the thickness you want. But it has not happened yet. So goodbye. Not to go back again!!!!

Course was in phenominal shape despite the drought. The the layout is intriguing with just the right amount of difficulty. The staff is friendly and very accomodating. The food is great... as always!

Took our parents to atkinson country club for Mothers Day brunch. The cost was $50 per person paid in advance with the reservation. This cost was double the regular brunch charge so we assumed it would come with a mimosa or a special pasta dish or a rose or flower for mothers. Boy was I wrong. No mimosa flower or special dish. On the contrary there was a packed function room filled with tables. Normally they had shrimp cocktail and a mac and cheese station. On mothers day no shrimp, no pasta, and prepared dishes were horrible. Fish had no taste vegetables and potatoes tasted like they were made the day before. They did have a wonderful made to order waffle and omelette station and prime rib, ham and pork station. But they always have the above for regular brunch. So basically they double charged everyone because it was mothers day and they could. I really think they should have made some effort to make it special to their guests instead of just special to the owners who made double profit. A flower, a cocktail, a special dish anything to make up for the double cost would have been fair and nicer. I will never go to the ACC for a holiday or special occasion again. Regular non holidays are lovely there and food is generally good but save your money on a holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Super spacious room, lovely views of the course, good service, nice bathrooms and Keurig machine in room. Very quiet and peaceful. Good restaurant and tavern as well

Often go to Atkinson for Thursday games and I usually enjoy it. The restaurant service is good and the food is great, golf courses are pretty good, greens could afford some work to be faster, but overall a great place to play golf and have a drink or two.

Tight, challenging course. Well maintained. Nice puttng green and driving range.

I have been here for a few events and each time the service is great, the food is delicious and the staff is courteous

We ate the grill and sat outside. The the staff was nice but it is very poorly managed. We were informed that they were short staffed as soon as we were greeted. We ordered and it took roughly an hr to get all my parties food. Once the food arrived some of the order was wrong and one persons food was not sent out with everyones. Everyone was done eating by the time his food finally came out. They took his meal off the bill which was the right thing to do. Food was ok and and the staff was nice. Management really needs to step up their game as it is to nice of place to have such a poor experience.

There wasn't just an incredible choice of breakfast, lunch and dessert foods, but all the food choices were excellent and our waitress was curtious, prompt and had great knowledge of her job description

Hidden New England gem golf course. Fantastic conditions, great staff, and challenging layout made for a delightful day in NH. For a course that's about an hour from Boston, this place should be more well-known.

Just had my wedding here yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. First off the landscape is AMAZING, they really put effort forth to make it an amazingly beautiful wedding experience, had ours under a breathtaking gazebo. Then the food (as much as I was able to eat) was incredible. One of the best parts was that our wedding Coordinator Julie was absolutely amazing to deal with and a HUGE help, will be recommending this place to all who are considering a wedding.

Slightly overpriced on the food side. Pub great hangout for sports watching, meeting new friends, and billiards. Staff is wonderful.

Golf and great food. We dine here regularly. Outside right at sunset is nice. The bar inside us great too.

Never have I officiated at such an unprofessional venue. They really blew it for the family involved. Very mismanaged, unprofessional and downright rude staff which seemed more like a three ring circus than a costly resort/country club. I would think twice before booking here, you wont get your moneys worth.

Great service, great course and an unbelievable 18th hole patio

Food was delicious, staff was fantastic, price was a but high, but definitely worth it.

The greens on the championship course are despicable. I would not play there until they change the grass on the greens

The food is ok... Very pricey for what it is. I've also attended a wedding here, and the scenery was pretty for the couple's photos, but the food was mediocre.

I was there for a wedding this weekend. The venue is lovely. The ceremony was outside near the water in front of a water fountain.

One of our favorite places for dinner and drinks. Excellent food, warm and rustic atmosphere. Martinis are served in a true 5oz. cocktail glass and are a bit overpriced. Kids menu could use some additional options.
